The Akkanabasandi temple in Sravanabelgola is a small beautiful ancient temple of the Hoysala era. In fact very few people visit this temple as most of the visitors first go to see the statue of Bahubali here. The temple whilst small is architecturally beautifully designed and has some beautiful carvings which are well preserved. A nice and peaceful temple to visit.

Just a walking distance away from Vindhyagiri base, this little Basadi built in typical Hoysala style is very beautiful. Carved profusely both inside and outside. Ceiling carvings are amazing. Location is simply great as it is located at the foot of Chandragiri. Watch for Kannada inscription outside. Just by its side is Sidhanta basadi. It is locked sometimes. Just enquire with neighbours and they will help you.

this temple located in Shravanabelagola is a master piece example for the old Hoysala style architecture. It reflects the rich cultural heritage of Krnataka and its surrounding places.

This Jain temple, supposedly built during Hoysala dynasty, is a nice accomplice if you're in Shravana Belagola for the Gommata visit. Superb artwork all around and at interior the temple, topped by the attractive dome, this temple shines as an example of our 12th century heritage. Worth the visit!
