Just as much you read from history book or wiki page, it is nothing compared to what the place offers. Just study a bit and you will truly appreciate the gallery. This is not only a piece of art, but recording of history too.

Famous for original Ravi Verma paintings. Very shoddily maintained. You will feel sorry by the state of museum's upkeep. Government apathy at it's worst.

Wonderful collection - ranging from precious Japanese paintings to 3D paintings (really amazing), collection is quite varied. Overall the place could have been better maintained & better promoted, hope the authorities understand the value.
