This was an amazing experience! I took classes there 1-30JUNE 2019. For me this was the best decision ever. I wanted to learn proper Ashtanga Yoga for my own practise. As it was a huge 'investment' to go all the way to India from China, I wanted to be sure that the center/school selected could be the best option available. So I decided to do a mini-research and I contacted 36 schools related with Ashtanga Yoga based in India (1-2 months in advance). At the end, I decided to go for Badri School - Reasons: 1) Maximum 12 students at a time; 2) You have full attention from Sir Badri while he teaches you step by step/day by day the different Asanas; 3) Cost was affordable for one month; 4) His expertise 40+years of experience; 5) Mostly are local students (10 of 12 were locals); 6) You learn traditional Mysuru Ashtanga yoga asanas and breathing. And I am so glad that I booked with him! For all those reasons, that are real, I will totally recommend this school for learning about this pracitse. Thanks again Sir Badri for all your time, patience and knowledge. You will be proud to know that I am still practising and even sharing with others, so I can keep on my motivation. Hopefully, I will come back to keep learning and improving. Best wishes! Nadia…

No words can describe my gratitude to Badri. He is an amazing teacher, who discovers your true potential and works with you to fully uncover it. His approach to yoga is almost unseen nowadays, even in India. He is a true treasure of Mysore! Badri keeps his classes small scale, so that he can take good care of every student. He is smart, funny, and especially very humble. I miss those morning classes so much. He teaches everyone - locals and foreigners and the classes are attended mostly by locals. It is a nice difference from the big shalas. Thank you so much Badri!!! I will be back!…

We attended Badri's yoga class for 1 month and it was a great choice! Badri has been teaching yoga for over 40 years and as such is very experienced and has an intuitive sense of how best to help you in your practice. I am a beginner at yoga and was slightly concerned after seeing all the photos of people bent this way and that like human elastic! I needn't have worried as Badri guided my partner and I with patience and mastery. It was a small class with local people, friendly and supportive. Thank you to Badri, see you next year!…

Badri trained me to Ashtanga Vinyasa for 3 weeks. Thanks to him, few months later, I can truly enjoy all the benefits of yoga on my health and mind. He really motivated me and gave me really good advices and kindness :) He is very professionnal and his teaching was very authentic. Ashtanga is challenging and he took the time to follow my own rythm and guide me properly thought the postures. Im glad Ive found him on my yoga journey, I'm still practicing at home and I cant wait to meet him again to learn the 2nd serie :) Thanks Guruji !…

I am so grateful to Badri for his gentle caring and super professional approach to classes. Thanks to Badri I again fell in love with the ashtanga yoga and with my own body. Coming to morning classes was the highlight of my stay in Mysore. He has got this one of a kind joyful and childlike nature that always made my mornings super positive. He himself, his physical and mental states are the representations of authenticity and clarity of the practice. At the age of 70 he still in a perfect physical state that any younger person would wish to strive for. I truly miss my mornings with Badri and I can't wait to come back to Mysore and deepen my practice further.…
