Samyak is one of the best yoga schools where you learn yoga in a traditional method with a peaceful environment. Safe for solo travelers 😊 . The yoga school is located near the banks of Cauvery river and is surrounded by beautiful scenery.

Yogacharya Rakesh is extremely knowledgeable and imparts his knowledge/wisdom with kindness, humbleness and with a sense of humor.
The 200 hr-Hatha yoga teacher training course at Samyak is a holistic and well structured course that goes beyond learning, teaching and correcting physical yoga poses or asanas. Curriculum included morning yoga practice, asana clinic, anatomy, pranayama techniques, class sequencing and philosophy. My personal favorite was Rakesh’s yoga philosophy class where the most mind opening discussions took place.
Each student was given enough attention during all classes. Samyak embraces people of all body types, ages and backgrounds. Nagendra and Kamal are talented teachers with alot of wisdom and each have unique style of teaching.

The rooms are clean and spacious enough to do your personal practice. The chefs were very considerate and made a variety of tasty wholesome dishes, including plant-based (vegan) options.

I will recommend Samyak to anyone who wants to learn how to teach or deepen their personal practice. It was an honor to learn from Rakesh and I am grateful for the heartwarming experience Samyak gave me. I am already looking forward to coming back soon. 🙏 ❤️

Best place to gain knowledge about yoga and teacher training program. The accommodation is great and the food is exceptional and flexible according to our specific allergies. It’s in the middle of a farm, very close to the river with beautiful sunrise views.

If you are looking to learn yoga in traditional method , let Samyak yoga be your choice. Everything is taken care of right from your stay, food and comfort. The added bonus is it is away from the hustle bustle of the city so you have a calming atmosphere around you.
There is a full schedule planned constructively for each day. The teachers are friendly and have great knowledge about asanas ( poses).
Highly recommend for anyone either wanting to teach or deepening their individual practice.

It is not easy to find the right words to describe this marvellous place. The ashram is perfectly situated, surrounded by green fields and coconut trees, far from the noise of the city. Rakesh is kind, professional and benevolent. It was an honour to be his student! I highly recommend his Ashtanga teacher training. The yoga philosophy classes were spectacular and I couldn’t get enough. Rakesh and his colleagues are experienced yogis with so much knowledge that they’re willing to share.
The rooms are clean and spacious with mosquito nets in the windows! (If you get eaten alive by mosquitoes like me, you know that’s a +)
And the cherry on top of the cake: the food was delicious! Freshly cooked every day and with a great variety of vegetarian dishes!

I had joined Samyak yoga for 200 he TTC program of Ashtanga yoga. This has been my life’s best one month. Samyak yoga is a mix of modern outlook and traditional yoga practices. I like how the old tradition and culture of yoga practices have been kept intact.

Apart from yoga, accommodation, food, environment, surroundings are just perfect. I never had a moment to complaint. All students are well taken care of.

It has been an absolute Honour to have learnt and practice under Rakesh Acharya. He has an amazing team of Nagendra Acharya and Kamal Acharya.

Given a chance and choice, i would anyways love to come back.

Lots of respect and regards to Samyak yoga.

One of the best yoga schools in india. Rakesh is an exceptional teacher not just with his yoga asanas but also his approach to yoga philosophy and how to relate it with the modern world we all live under. Rakesh makes you feel a part of the samyak family and is a wonderful guide to begin a complete spiritual yogic experience with. Kamal has a unique style of sharing his knowledge of yoga be it asana clinic or philosophy or kirtans. Nagendra has been really helpful with improvising our yoga asanas and adds a fun balance being tech savy and encouraging in sharing this beautiful experience with everyone on the web world.

The food is absolutely delicious and the rooms are simple yet exceptionally clean. The property at which samyak is located is beautiful and serene.

Would most definitely visit again and highly recommend Samyak to anyone looking to learn yoga in the right way as the teachers are very well trained and highly knowledgable with the subject !

PS : all solo travellers, its been absolutely safe , amazing fun and a friendly atmosphere at Samyak Yoga

Attending the 200hr Hatha YTTC at Samyak was one of the best decisions I ever made. Yogacharya Rakesh embodies the spirit of lightness, humility and skill when he teaches asanas and philosophy - the depth of his knowledge is inspiring and his sense of humour through it all is in my opinion "how it should be"! I hear that YTTC can sometimes feel competitive but not for one minute did any of our group feel anything but helped, helpful and included. Acharyas Nagendra and Kamal are extraordinarily skilled and patient. Excellent teachers without whom any learning would be incomplete. Samyak is traditional and non-gimmicky, for students who are ready to go deeper beyond the body and really grapple with the meaning of yoga.

I went to Samyak Yoga for the 200h Hatha Yoga TT and couldn't have wished for a better place.

Yogacharya Rakesh will guide you through the 8 limbs of yoga with both wisdom and humour, giving you strenght, self-confidence and a huge amont of knowledge. Sharing their passion with experience and skills, he, along with Kamal and Nagendra, will help you build a solid basis to start your yoga teacher journey. Philosophy of yoga, asana clinic (how to go into every posture and how to adjust your students) anatomy, chanting mantras, class sequencing, pranayama and meditation classes, everyting is covered.

The journey continues outside the classroom and Shala, sharing thoughts and questions between teachers and students, along with amazing food in a beautiful and well cared Ashram.

I'm forever grateful for what Samyak gave me and can't wait to go back.
