One of the few Bal (Child) Hanuman temples in the country. Legend has the Pandavas constructed the temple after winning the Mahabharata war. Saint Tulsidas wrote the Hanuman Chalisa and Emperor Akbar sent a lot of gifts to establish respect for a multi cultural religious society.

The inner sanctum apart from the main Hanuman ji idol has beautiful statues of Shri Ram- Lakshman ji and Sita ji along with showing Radha Krishna in their majestic glory.

The other thing , I like about this temple is that there are mini temples of various Gods and Goddesses

The temple is very clean and well managed

The temple is very well maintained. One of the oldest temples but the upkeep until today is good. We didnt catch much crowd on the day we visited and so we had a very good darshan of hanumanji. The idol is very unique and felt powerful.

The temple is generally always crowded with many vagabonds and beggars shouting for your attention. It is an old temple but not very clean. The food court nearby has great options for snacks including Kachoris.

It is certainly one of the oldest and the most famous Hanuman Temples in the city. Located in heart of New Delhi on Bangla Sahib Gurudwara Road near PVR Rivoli, it attracts most of its crowd on Tuesdays every week, and on special occasions like Hanuman Jayanti. The entire complex is now far better organized than yesteryears when I used to frequent this temple as child with my family. The shops selling prasaad and pooja saamgri (offerings to the Lord), have been organized better now. There is a problem of parking on the busy road in front. Please visit early morning or late night (before 11 pm) to avoid long queues for darshan,

Very old and famous Lord Hanuman temple situated in the heart of New Delhi near Connaught place. You will find lot of devotees on every Tuesday. Temple is located to famous shopping area like Janpath, Palika Bazar, Connaught place etc. Be careful of beggars they will trouble you a lot and irritates you. Parking may be a problem sometime. Avoid eating any fast food at this place as it is not hygienic.

The Hanuman Temple located on the Baba Kharak Singh Marg in Connaught Place is a very old Hindu Temple .It is believed to be of Mahabharat times. Devotees starts visiting this temple since early in the morning. On Tuesdays and on the occasion of Hanuman Jayanti, you will find maximum rush of the devotees there. I really get a divine feeling after visiting this temple. During the day time ,you can find lot of monkeys in the temple surrounding. There are few sweet shops and snack shops where you can buy Prasad and delicious Kachoris/Bread Pakoras respectively. On the opposite side of the Hanuman Temple, at the same Baba Kharak Singh Marg, you can see all the state’s emporium where you can buy some very good stuff of other states too. There is a huge NDMC parking close to temple where you can park your vehicle.

The Hanuman Temple located on the Baba Kharak Singh Marg in Connaught Place is an ancient Hindu Mandir and is claimed to be one of the five temples of Mahabharata days. It is frequented by Hindu devotees in the capital and is crowded on Tuesdays and holidays. It is dedicated primarily to Lord Hanuman though there are other deities as well. One can procure Prasad from shops outside and dedicate them to the Lord. A divine place to visit and have darshan.
