Overall, our tour was wonderful-most everything was well planned without any worry to us. Sandeep, the tour organizer, was available to speak to if any issues occurred. Our driver, Mr. Mintu, was amazing-always getting us safely to our destination through the crazy traffic in India. He was the nicest man, always with a smile and so willing to try and make us happy. The guides we had in each city were all quite good, with knowledge of the sites we were touring. The hotels were all nice, some more than others, but overall very acceptable.
My minor complaints are that a few of the stops in our written itinerary were left out (Humayun’s Tomb, Jama Mosque, etc.) which was disappointing. We also had some language difficulties with our driver sometimes, who was wonderful but spoke limited English. It would have been helpful if he had our itinerary translated into Hindi. I also got tired of always stopping at ‘safe’ tourist buffets to eat-I would have liked to experience more of the local cuisines.
Aside from these issues, I definitely would recommend Imperial India Tours. Overall, they provided an amazing trip.
