We took a rickshaw ride with these guys - including guide and two rickshaws. A fantastic way to see Old Delhi - safer than on foot! Great streetfood pitstops and some ‘hidden gems’ including a visit to the rooftop above the clamour of Chandi Chowk which was fantastic. Driver and guide were brilliant, very knowledgeable and experts at handling tourists (with hand sanitizer and words of warning re traffic). Strongly recommend. Takes a few hours.

As part of a tour group we took a cycle rickshaw ride through Old Delhi. Our cyclist was great at navigating his way between traffic and people through the many narrow streets. And what a great way to experience the place as you roll past cows, silk shops, people, monkeys, food stalls, spice stalls - the list goes on. An excellent introduction to this part of the city and highly recommended. Not so good if you have a bad back, though, because there are potholes everywhere.

Excellent tour of chaotic Old Delhi - our tour guide was super knowledgeable on the history of Delhi dating back hundreds of years, which helped us piece together a rich history of the city's culture, architecture and food. It would have been much harder to navigate the streets without her guidance and history lesson!

Old Delhi is challenging to navigate - we are so happy we did this tour! Our guide gave us the right amount of history and context at the start, and then we began. She was super friendly and knowledgeable - and she took us to the BEST jalebi and samosa spots. We weren't worried about cleanliness or getting sick - we all ate a bit and felt totally fine. She took us through the main lanes - including the silver market, wedding market, and major food lanes - and helped navigate effectively through the chaos to give a view of what Real India looks like. Highly recommend taking a walking tour and seeing Old Delhi by foot and would 100% recommend City Walks!!!
