Had a truly wonderful trip exploring the holy cities of haridwar and rishikesh on the mighty ganga River and then travelling further up into the Himalayas to the breathtakingly beautiful town of mussoorie.
The highlights of the trip was attending the aarti or Hindu prayer ceremony at sunset at triveni ghat in rishikesh. We also went for a short bushwalk to a waterfall. Sanjay even arranged for me to have a private yoga session. Sanjay organised a very knowledgeable local guide to take us thru the varied temples in rishikesh.
The hotel had magnificent views of the Ganges and surrounding mountains. The food was healthy and tasty.
Sanjay was a great driver, companion and guide He seems to anticipate your needs before you even tell him.

Thoroughly recommend sanjayindiatours.com fir your travel needs in India 🇮🇳.

Overall: really enjoyed our trip of 3 days Delhi, 2 Agra, 2 Ranthambore and 3 Jaipur.
Hotels: 4 star package- all Hotels were good, Delhi and Jaipur very good.
Driving: Felt safe in really crazy (to us) conditions, especially on drive in the dark down to Ranthambore.
Went out of his way to show us points of interest like the stepping well at Abhaneri.
One of the guides they used at fatehpur sikri introduced us to ‘holy man’ without warning who try to pressure sell items to be offered for good luck wish and insisted we went to a shop that we had made it clear we didn’t want to go to. We’re were also not told if this guide in advance.
General comment on travelling in India: Budget for spending at craft shops or be prepared to resist very good salesmen (they always were men). Also a good idea to agree high level itinerary up front to ensure in/exclusions are clear and discuss itinerary for next day and adjust as preferred.
Had a very enjoyable trip.

India is definitely an assault on the senses in a most incredible way. The sights, sounds, smells and tastes are something you’ll never forget. We’ve had an amazing 12 day tour visiting all the major attractions plus tiger safari and elephant ride. Visited Delhi, Agra, Ranthambore and Jaipur. Hotels are good quality with the exception of the safari hotel which was a lot more basic and only had hot water for a few hours a day. However, that didn’t detract from the overall experience. The tour driver Sanjay was very knowledgeable and very accommodating and a lovely person to have with us, nothing was too much trouble, he’s made us all laugh many times, a genuinely lovely guide. Food and service everywhere was excellent. We did three days in Delhi but felt that was perhaps a little too long and would recommend less time there and more in Jaipur, which is beautiful. Agra doesn’t have a great deal except the Taj so one day is ample. We felt with the exception of Agra, tour guides are not necessary. We’ve had a wonderful trip and would definitely use again. Highly recommended. Thank you Sanjay and Sanjay India Tours for making it a trip of a lifetime.

Excellent service on a 12 day tour of Delhi, Agra and Jaipur. Very good driving in difficult conditions.
Sanjay was a Very friendly and helpful driver and he knew al the best places to go to.
He knew all the timings of all the attractions and when best fo go, even in bad weather.
The hotels were excellent and the arranged activities were very good.
Sometimes there was a bit of pressure to go to cultural arts and crafts centres, but nothing too much, (although there is a culture of making westerns feel they should be buying to support the poor local workers). This was however nothing to with Sanjay tours, just a comment on what we experienced.
Overall a great holiday and we felt very safe with Sanjay as our guide.
Thank you!!

Sanjay tours were recommended to us. The service was personalised and detailed. We enjoyed being shown around and experiencing India in this way. We spent three days in Delhi, two in Agra then tried to find some tigers before we had a great experience of the Pink City, Jaipur. Sanjay was very helpful, knowledgeable and always curtious.
We always felt safe in his hands.
Thank you for a great India experience.

Just back from a fantastic time with Sanjay India tours.
The best thing about the tour was our driver Sanjay. He was professional and courteous and went out of his way to give us a better service than we ever could have imagined. There were four of us in our group and none of us would give this less than a five star recommendation.

I used Sanjay India tours to customize my trip to Rajastan. As a single female Mr Sanjay ws very detailed in the correspondence. Upon arrival I was met at the airport. He arranged all the hotels and drove me himself to the areas I wanted to go to . He provided a safe environment for me to travel and was happy to deliver tips about shopping. He was prompt and courteous always. I can recommend Sanjay India tours if you are traveling alone

Ajay Kumar worked with a local friend of ours and put together an amazing journey from New deli to Varenassi to Kujaharo (Im sure i spelled that wrong) and then south through many small towns not typically visited all the way to Agar. He arranged private cars, guides with incredible knowledge in each place, and found some of the most charming places to stay in these off the beaten track villages. When traveling to India one can feel uncertain but Ajay took care of all our needs and was readily available by Whats app for any questions. Please note - he arranged for us to stay in a very spiral location and Old line home, converted into a guest house in Varnessi right the Ganges River. It was a very special place. Our guide there was a brahman who made our time on the river deeply memorable and personally significant as he prayed for us as we floated the ashes of friends and family. We felt wrapped in the arms of Indias historic love.
Thank you Ajay and Dipika!
