I was given a very informative and eye opening guided tour through Delhi's slums by Santan and would thoroughly recommend the experience. It is something I believe all visitors in Delhi shouldn't close their eyes to. A small price to pay for what you'll experience.

After this weekend I am sure that they are Angels. Helping children in one of the worst condition I have seen, a real slum (and when I say this, I am not saying the tipical "slum" that most of the organizations tell us that they are working in. I have visited other "slum" and for me those are just poor areas with basics needs well satisfied). In this place they only get water one time per week from a tank truck, a place where families live next to a septic tank with the risk to get illnesses, where families with 16 members live in a shack with two rooms that together are smaller than your own kitchen... If you can support this Organization and visit them, do not hesitate.

This experience was very good for me. The life of those who live there is actually hard, but the smile of children playing in slam was bright! I want to contribute them and know about them more, so...I will go again!!! I wish everyone to join it and see their life!!!

We met Mehar Singh in Delhi and he showed us Wahoe NGO. We went on a walking tour of their schools in the slums and disadvantaged areas of Dehli. It was our last day in India so we didn't take part in any of their volunteer work but they do offer opportunities in many different areas. I found it to be a very valuable experience and would recommend this company to anyone wishing to do this sort of thing.

I did the slum walk tour in February 2014. My guide, Chaman is really great, very nice and intelligent man. He gives you full information and you can ask him lots of questions. He's also a yoga teacher, I recommend it! Anyway do not hesitate to contact this agency, they are very serious!
