The Lal Gumbad in Malviyanagar with its sloping red stone walls with squarish box like appearance looks more like a mini fortress than a Tomb of a saint! This is not the only contradiction as the dome looks more black than red as the name...More

Lal Gumbad is a tomb developed for Sufi saint Kabir-ud-din Aulia, a disciple of Chirag-i-Dilli and built in about 1397 AD. This is located on the main Maharshi Dayanand Marge in Malviya Nagar. Presently the tomb is intact but the nearby structures have crumbled. This...More
