I loved all the stuff this place had to offer, a great place to buy gifts. They had a lot of block printed clothes, they had handbags, jewelery and books.

Funky printed clothing that follows native techniques. Beautiful bags made of jute!
It made me think of an edgier urban outfitters with a local crafts mentality.

I was there 3 days ago and spent up big on jewellery. Such a great range by local artists. I took my daughter there and she got T-shirts and jewellery. An interesting place to visit and the staff are always friendly.

This small shop is a really great alternative to most shops of Connaught place. It offers, without hassle, a cool selection of clothes, various handcrafted items like bags, cushion covers, jewellery and else. Also, it has a decent selection of books, spices, teas... Buying there ensures that your money goes in the right pockets and that you're buying authentic handicraft.

Impressive book collection, a lot of litearature on organic agriculture, feminism and women issues in India, human rights, a lot of "leftist classics", illustrated books and poetry, all from various time periods from 70s to now on.
And also amazing clothes -- if you're looking for something special (that you can not find on the endless indian bazaars) in the mix-style technique, colourful, with various crazy and smart prints, it's definitely your place!
Staff is also very friendly and can give very helpful advice for a good read.

Une of my favorite stores in Delhi, there is usually original stock, fun, well priced and the staff are helpful. A book on 'Easy Walk in Old Delhi' is a pleasure to read, but hasn't been updated since 2009, published in 2010 - so the Metro isn't really incorporated, which makes the book not much use! This is urgent for those of us who use the Metro - and our feet.

Loved this shop, staff in it very friendly and welcoming! Great to support local modern artists 😊 loved browsing and would have loved to buy more! Easy walk from State Emporium (a great place with more traditional art/crafts). Make sure you know where you are going to avoid all hustlers on the street who will be overly friendly and direct you elsewhere...

i remember finding my way to this shop even 10-12 years ago. how glad i was to walk past it last weekend. its in the same place where it always was, behind regal. things have changed. regal has shut down. a ccd came next to it years ago but the people tree has not changed. i sure hope it doesnt. you still find quirky classy anklets and jackets and earings and dupattas and what not. its a paradise for artsy girls. when i was in college i alwasy had one of their tinkling anklets around my ankle... and how proud i would be to sport one.

This place is a little GEM, so colourful and interesting like an Alladin's Cave. Love the unusual women's clothes, earrings and cushions. Bought a pair of earrings made from paper clips and chocolate papers, they are stunning. Every piece has a handmade element to make it unique. I saw a couple of the artists doing some hand beading in the shop while I was there. I'm an artist from Australia so I appreciate all the hours of work that goes into the goods. I am looking forward to going back there when I next visit Delhi. Go there you won' be disappointed, it is situated in the Regal building walking distance from Connaught Place.
