Was an amazing experience, I volunteered for 2 months in jipour and rishikesh and it was great. Jitender and surendar were very nice and took me to lots of good places in jipour for a good price. Naveen, Jesse and jitender took me to the slums everyday in rishikesh so I could teach the children and they were great for showing me the highlights of the beatiful location. The accommodation was nice and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to volunteer for a great organisation. Also the yoga centre was a good price with multiple informative classes being available throughout the day.

I used the service for agra, pushkar and jaipur and were awesome, the guide gave me a lot of info about the places we went to, also i could see the peoject in jaipur, where you can tell they are making and imppecable job with the kids. In my case we were able to ride all the transport services of India, as the train, ricksaw, bus, bicycle and others, giving you the chance to penetrate the cities and to share with real indians.

From the morning that Surender came to meet me at dawn off the bus in Rishikesh, I knew he would make my experience a special one. It never felt like he was the guide and I was the tourist; rather we were two friends, exploring a city together. I was humbled to be given a window into his work, religion and way of life. My two days in Rishikesh remain two of the best days I spent in India, and they would not have been the same without Wahoe Charitable Tours.
With Surender, I was able to go up to Neelkanth Mahadev Temple, an important temple dedicated to one of the forms of Lord Shiva, and perform the same rituals that thousands of pilgrims around me were also doing. Being the only white face there, it was a surreal and incredibly interesting experience. He knew exactly where to go, and was flexible and understanding, tailoring the trip to suit my interests. We visited the Vashishtha Guha cave, bathed in an awesome waterfall, went to the evening aarti and had half a day in Haridwar. I also got to meet the children at Wahoe's slum school in Rishikesh, which was particularly interesting after teaching earlier in my trip at Wahoe's slum school in Delhi.
With the help of Wahoe Charitable Tours and particularly Surender, I got to explore Rishikesh on my own terms, but also with the perks of local knowledge. Above all, I made a caring, adventurous and fun friend - thank you Surender for an unforgettable cultural experience!

My sister and I visited the slum at Baljeet Nagar with Santan. it was most interesting to see the work Wahoe are doing and to see the respect all the people we met had for Santan. We visited the school where we did some rhymes and counting with the children, who were all happy and polite.
If you have not visited a Delhi slum before I can thoroughly recommend it, as an eye opener to anther side of Delhi that tourist dont often get to see. We ended up at the Wahoe office where we learnt more about the NGO and the work and fund raising they are doing.
We also had a trip to the slum school in Rishekesh with Wahoe staff. Thank you for taking us on the interesting trip, we felt very privileged to be able to spend some time here with the delightful children and the volunteer Hannah who was teaching them.

My experience about wahoe caritable tours
Santan proposed to me some activities to feed my stay.
Activities like Slums walk, food street, Delhi by night, Old Delhi walk or live theater.
I chose to do with him the Slums walk because we can not do it alone. Some places in the slums are dangerous and to get there you have to be with a good company.
We went through several corners, saw several things, such as locations or stored the garbage, or the trucks that come once a week to feed families in water, small family's factories or again the pigs roll in the mud middle of a road.
This is a very interesting experience, many different things from our country to see.
The second day I have chose to do the Live Theater and Delhi by night, because it is dangerous to walk alone at night in Delhi when you are a woman and I really wanted to see the city in a different light.
So we went to the theater to see a famous singer, that was a great time, everyone was dancing and singing and we did not want that this moment stop it.
We ate in the basement with the musicians, then we went to visit delhi night.
We made an open evening monument. It's very nice to see an enlightened moment by some light in the darkness of a noise. There were people who slept near the monument, others who ate there and then others who listened to the words of the priest inside.
After we landed in Cannnaught Place, eat ice cream and talk about everything and nothing.
I saw the place the day and the night, everything is different, the people, the atmosphere ...
We had to leave because it started to rain and it was late. I will wanted to visit Delhi by night again, it was an experience very interesting and relaxing. At night there is no noise, all is quiet.

I would highly recommend Santan and Jessie from Wahoe to show you around Delhi! I was picked up at the airport and treated like a friend the entire time. I only had three days in Delhi and was able to easily visit all of the temples, slum tour and school, try different foods around old Delhi and visit the Taj Mahal in Agra! I didn't feel like I was on a tour but as if a friend was showing me around their home city. I had a wonderful first visit to India! WAhoe uses its tours to fund their women and children education programs.
