I along with my colleagues purposely decided to visit Qutub Minar with Team Delhi By Foot. Though, most of us had earlier visited the place but unaware of the history and the facts that we came to know after our interaction with their Team Member. They really made our day. Mostly all of us had never shown interest in History subject during our schools days but the way they explained, portrayed, and guided us we started building interests. I wish I could ever got such interactive history lesson during my school days. The best part is that they have a team of Professional Researchers who guide us through our journey with lots of amazing facts behind. I recommend every individual/ traveller to consider Delhi By Foot for your next visit.

Just did the Tariq e Tawaif walk and thoroughly enjoyed it. Our guide Mariam was such a font of knowlege and regaled us wonderful stories that brought the palace alive and Zubair was great at getting us started with his history of Delhi. Highly recomend their tours and plan to do a lot more.

The fascinating historical nuggets; the background information on the seven cities of Delhi and the way Ramit anchored in the geographical location of not just the park but the many cities of Delhi made it very satisfying and well spent morning. The group of ten officers really enjoyed this offbeat outing after long incarceration of lockdown. Though it was sad that that Gandhak kee baoli was closed and so was the inner mausoleum of jamali kamali .

I first met the DBF team over a year ago, when I set out to explore my new city by joining historic tours every weekend. DBF are amongst the best. From the djinns of Feroz Shah Kotla, Nizamuddin Basant (Spring festival), Bengali idol makers of CR Park, Ramzan night walk in Old Delhi or even out of town Monsoon Madness, Ramit and his team curate incredible insights into Delhi's layered history ... and its food! Since then, I've booked tailored DBF Old Delhi tours for friends and family visiting from out of town, and they have always delivered incredible experiences (even last minute)! Here's what my sister in law had to say : "Visiting Delhi without going to Old Delhi district would be a shame. Thanks to Mehtab, we could discover multiple aspects : everyday life in the market, art and history with amazing hidden buildings, safe and savoury street food and more ! As he was born ans raised in Old Delhi, you can ask him any questions." So do join a group or reach out to DBF for a passionate and generous insider's experience of Delhi!

I feel like I experienced a wonderful slice of culture in Old Delhi from the street food and my guide’s insight and explanations of the local history. I did a solo food and heritage walking tour with Mehtab. He was a very knowledgeable guide and it was great to connect on culture and society and food. I appreciated that he was able to show off his favorite food stalls, which were all unique and delicious. I came away from the tour full, happy, and with a better appreciation of Old Delhi. I also got to throw raw chicken into a vat of hot oil to fry, which is super fun.
