Had the most amazing time with Karn at Pabbar valley Trek! although we were unable to attempt the pass due to unfavourable weather, the whole experience with Geck was great. Karn and team were immaculate in their planning. the trekking team was given a lot of independence to take decisions on planning individual days of the trek, when to stop, what to eat and all that stuff. Since the trek put emphasis on backcountry skills, we were also taught how to pitch tents, how to cook food on treks and the likes. this was a very unique experience for a first time trekker! There aren't enough words to express the beautiful sights seen on the trek- from snow laden mountains to vast green meadows. The local people you meet on the way provide a great perspective on local living. All in all- great people, awesome food and a memorable experience! Hope i get to complete the pass soon! And of course, all new treks to be with Geck! thanks Karn and Aashna! :)

I have done all my treks with Geck & Co Adventurers and love the company - this July I got reminded again why I love them so: This time around 5 of us were traveling to Ladakh and wanted to do more of hikes than a trek. The Geck Cos helped us pick the Sham Trek (which some call Baby Trek in Ladakh). We were told it's called the Baby Trek but never underestimate and take for granted any hike/trek... and, rightly so, because this may be a simple 3/4 day trek with 3 hours of walking each day roughly and options for lovely homestays each night when you stop over at camp sites in or around villages but the sun is really strong during the day and so it all takes a toll on your body - specially in the hot month of July. We were also warned that we are going to see some of the most beautiful sites and boy is that true... the walk, the villages you stop by, the patches of lush green amidst mighty brown mountains, the clear streams - it was all just stunning and other-worldly. We were also told whilst on the trek (by other guides) that this trek is mostly done by Europeans and not too many Indians, which is such a pity. It's really quite gorgeous (I can't tell you how gorgeous - no words are enough). The Geck Cos made the experience even more memorable by getting us together with the most gracious and helpful guide who was quite knowledgeable about the region/culture/religion. The gear, staff, food was just what we could ask for, if not better. In fact, the food needs special mentioning here - it was perfect - a good solid lunch pack of boiled potato, boiled egg, sandwich, banana, chocolate and juice just made my day and the walk worth it. In the evening, the staff whipped up momos, pasta, pizza, chopsey, cake, apple pie, potato wedges, popcorn for us on different nights - it was really great... Plus, we all ended the trek with a beautiful bonfire, singing, dancing, some local rice beer and wonderful conversation. Definitely something I will never forget and that you should try.

This was a private trip for family and friends of family in the Himalayas lasting a total of 14 days. Being an old hand at India I expected something to go wrong. How wrong was I, the organisation was perfect, the staff amazing, how the cook turned out superb delicious veggie food at 4100m i don't know, we had specified veggie food. A friend left his spectacles behind on a stop before the camp site one day, a young lad from the Geck team ran back and retrieved them, I think his eyes popped when he saw the tip he got from my very thankful friend. This was a trip of a lifetime, mules to carry our kit and tents for the night., superb scenery, can't recommend them enough. Very reasonable cost too. Not for the unfit or faint hearted it has to be said but this is Gecks' type of holiday

I trekked with Geck and co back in June 2013 and had the best time oflife! From the word go the trek and all the arrangements were perfectly done ..from the fantastic place we were put up on day zero and everything after that. I have done another trek with a different group since then and this trek with these guys will always be my benchmark of a well organised fun trek! The food was superlative..the staff extremely helpful. Our trek leader Archit was both knowledgeable and confidence inspiring.i basically made great friends on this trek..tested my limits on my first trek..enjoyed every bit and didn't have to think about anything but just walking and climbing and skipping over rocks!

For my visit to India, all that was on my agenda was to be in the mountains. Choosing to go on an adventure with Geck & Co Adventures was the best decision I made. The 5 day trek was a perfect combination of hiking through green meadows, pine forest, villages and snow capped mountains. The scenery was stunning! I loved seeing the sheep, mountain goats and horses along the way. Archit was the best guide I've had on any trek I've ever been on. Not only was he an expert in mountaineering, he made everyone feel safe and comfortable and he was an awesome companion. He's super friendly and fun and made the trip a blast for everyone. The food was stellar and the rest of the staff was fantastic as well. I highly recommend Geck & Co for an unforgettable adventure in India.
