We used Bhavya holidays whilst in India and I have to say that Vikas and the team of drivers (Kishan, Manoj and Sudama) made our visit feel very special. Vikas was incredible and ensured both the cars and drivers were excellent. As a family of four, we were driven around India (Delhi, Agra, Fatehpur Sikri, Jaipur and Pushka) in a series of clean, nearly new, Toyota Innova cars by a set of experienced, courteous, and patient drivers. Vikas also arranged all our guides in each location and this provided an added layer of comfort for international visitors unfamiliar with northern India. This was a referral from one of my wife’s colleagues and I have to say we were not disappointed. Vikas even arranged for us to hire one of his mobile broadband hubs for our entire visit (including a week in Goa) which meant we always had an alternative to any internet offering at the hotels and locations we visited. We would wholeheartedly recommend Vikas and Bhavya Holidays to anyone touring India.

Our trip to India was very unique and that is also thanks to Mr. Vikas Dhawan of Bhavya Holidays. Vikas was super helpful, professional, and patient from the minute we started to correspond to plan our trip – from hotel suggestions to saving time on travel time in order to be able to explore more of India. Mr. Vikas helped us book our Safari adventure in Ranthambore and see beautiful Ladakh with accommodations and transportation. Mr. Sunil, our driver was professional, and always on time. He made us feel safe and comfortable and answered questions we had about India and the cities we visited when he was with us – from Jaipur to New Dehli. Sunil was available to us as needed even when we had an emergency – he helped us communicate with the medical team and made sure that my family was safe. I regret not using Bhavya in Mumbai. I highly recommend them for your next trip to India– worth every penny. Having Bhavya on the trip – made things easier and safe in every sense of the word.

We had booked our hotels and car through Bhavya holidays for 10day trip to Rajasthan. All the hotels and car booked by Mr. Vikas Dhawan were perfect. We stayed in different hotels in different locations. All the rooms were nice. The payment process and booking was very transparent and no hidden cost or last minute surprises.
Even the driver was very helpful and cooperative. He would be on time to pick us up and was polite.
I would definitely recommend Bhavya holidays to my friends and family. This was our second trip with them, which was hassle free.

Thank you for making our trip memorable.

I had hired tempo travel for Uttrakhand. I was told driver knows all places well but he had not travelled those areas in past 7-8 years. Driver was not at all proactive.. was not ready for sight seeing after 5:30 pm, would drive slow purposely.. would drop us at far places sighting reason that vehicle will not go ahead whereas other vehicles are passing by us. We had senior citizen and small kids, inspite telling him, he will not listen. Would not even help to load/unload luggage. Would not recommend to anyone.

Dear Sir / Madam, Greetings!!!! Thanks for your review, i understand you was having children and old age people in trip but we discussed about same before trip start and even during the trip that many places in uttrakhand big vehicle entrance is not allowed and only small cars can go there. Our big vehicles are not allowed to stop anywhere in middle of road and we drop our tourist there, we have to park our big vehicles in proper parking area only from there you can walk to sightseeing places. i hope people will understand the issue. Regards Vikas Dhawan

As a group of 14, we had such a fantastic time with Vikas. The transport, accommodation and tour guides were really high quality. The three team members were friendly and did their very best to accommodate us at all times throughout our trip. When we arrived in Delhi, Vikas met us with bottles of water and fresh fruit and vegetables. Between Delhi, Agra and Jaipur, we saw the most amazing sights and had lovely food. The tour guides were very knowledgable and ensured that we had a great time. I would highly recommend booking with this company!

I first discovered Vikhas Dhawan 10 years ago when I needed help buying Indian train tickets and my daughter and I would not use anyone else as we trust him. He recently arranged wonderful solo tour for me in Kashmir which I thoroughly enjoyed. Dawn from Australia.

My father and I rented a Toyota Innova from Bhavya Holidays to travel from Agra to Udaipur in a bit less then a week. Bhavya offers other budget friendlier cars, but, I guess, with the Innova you are guaranteed of the most experienced drivers, which makes it worth the extra. You will deal with the manager Vikas to make prior arrangements. Vikas is professional, well informed, and cooperative and you may expect prompt and savvy answers. Vikas also took care of our train tickets reservations.
I checked into Vikas’ prices with 1 other competing offer and his offer seemed competitive.
In India, I guess, one of the golden rules is that you know what you want. If that’s not clear or if you’re not able to inoculate that situation (truthfully, it's a big part of simply being in India as a tourist, so get used to it), you are in a weak position and it may open the door for manipulations and ultimately frustrations. With Bhavya we never felt other priorities then ours. But accept as my two rupees worth of advice; never pay anything before it’s clear what you want and what you are going to pay for it. Also, you may specify exactly how you will be paying for the trip and when. As in, an amount to fix the reservation and then, 1/3 on arrival, 1/3 midway, 1/3 at the end.
Bhavya works with about 12 drivers. We asked for a specific driver mentioned on Tripadvisor. Our driver was Mr. Sunil Dutt. And drive he did: fast, confident, with the necessary assertiveness, but ultimately safely. Unlike other (taxi)drivers we had before this part of our trip, Sunil adapted his style to our western habits and stomach. We got to where we wanted to go and we got there alive. I think that ticks most of the boxes in what you want in a driver. But we also had an amazing time with Sunil. He simply added to the amazement. Not only did he ensure our travel environment to be as relaxed and inviting as possible, Sunil was english-proficient, gentle, friendly, interesting, interested and knowledgeable: he knows about opening hours, prices, the games and scams of any sightsee. Sometimes -and only if we asked, he proposed alternatives. Mostly he would respect a relaxing environment in the car, but he would also engage in conversations we found interesting thanks to his relaxing and inviting personality. Sunil was all the things one could want. We LOVED him and we were VERY happy with him. In my opinion you should ask for him, see if he's available for your trip and you will have a great time.

Great luck we had booking with Vikas for our first holiday in India. We had some safety concerns as 2 girls travelling in India, but Vikas was very responsive in answering all our doubts before the trip, and accommodated all requests we may have such as hotel and sightseeing choices and pick up drop off time and place. The prices were fair, especially in India where tourists are often targeted for scams, we were overall satisfied and appreciative of the honest service rendered.

Special mention to our driver Rajeev who was very responsible polite safe and punctual. We will definitely use their services again the next time we visit India again!

Dear Vikas, Our travel is finished, so we would like to thank you for your organisation because the trip was really nice.
First of all, our driver Sunil was fantastic (always on time, polite and reserved at the same time, worried about our welfare and giving good advices).
The hotels were really correct. The first one in Delhi had little problems with the shower, but the bed was good.
In contrast we would like to transmit you some comments that may help your future other customers:
The trip in elephant was really nice, but it was supposed to be included in the package, and we didn't appreciate too much to have to give the mahout a tip of 200Rs, the same for the boat trip in the Ganges, 100Rs (moreover when a local proposed us before a boat ride for 150Rs).
Concerning the guides, Jaipur's one was very keen on the Palace history, but bringing us to handcraft or gemstone stores, was not very comfortable when we told him that we didn't want to buy anything, and people in the shops thought we were going to buy.
In Varanasi, the guide was very nice and warned us from the beginning that if we wanted his explanations the service was extra, and we accepted. Please correct me if I'm wrong but the organisation of the trip was included. But we really wonder how would It be the visit whitout paying him the 1600 Rs. He explained us many things, but he did not come with us inside the museum and when visiting the Shiva temple in Varanasi, it was another young guy who took us to see the top of this temple (where we were not allowed to go in) and the roof of another one (watching from the other outside of the wall). Not very interesting if we are clear. And one new guide means new tip,, To watch the ceremony, we were really confortable sat down, but well 200 Rs more and we do not think that the difference is that much compared to other tourist sat down with the other local people.
The amount of the tips is not that much each time but at the end we have the impression of being squeezed.

Although these little black spots,, for sure the trip will be unforgetable, lots of amazing places and very nice meetings with local people.

We booked online due to TripAdvisor good reviews. I wish we hadn't. The deciding factors for us were that as two women travelling on our own we wanted to travel outside of an organised tour group so we could choose where we wanted to go, how long we wanted to stay, and we could feel safe and comfortable in a country that is not always safe for women to travel on their own. We paid a deposit online then on the day of our arrival took a quite long trip to a small office to pay the remainder. The driver picked us up from the airport, and welcomed us. His car was clean and comfortable, he was smiling and friendly. A good start. It went downhill from there. We were in Delhi 3 days then Agra 3 days , Jaipur 6 days then back to Delhi overnight. From our first day of sightseeing it was a battle, in which we stated where we wanted to go, the driver argued with us about where he thought we should go instead, what order we should do things in, how long we should take, and how he did not want to drive anywhere if traffic was heavy. I thought we were paying for a driver who was also a tour guide, but no . On the occasions we won The battle of where to go we would just be dropped about front and told to go there and buy ticket while the driver would wait outside for us. The only place we had a guide was in Agra when we picked up another guy from the company who was actually a good guide for the Taj Mahal and Red Fort. We were told we had to pay him extra, so gave him 500 Baht. In Delhi we told the driver we really wanted to see the Gandhi memorial and his house / museum. We eventually found the memorial after being dropped at Raj gate, but when we came out the driver told us the traffic was too bad to go to Gandhi house / museum, he would take us later. We never got there, though we raised it several times with him. Though we were told by the owner the driver would be available to us from 6 am to 10 pm each day, the driver told us to eat in our hotel in Jaipur because our hotel was near the airport and it was too far for him to drive us into town to other restaurants. Hence we did eat in our hotel every night, and luckily the food was excellent, but it cost us significantly more to do that than occasionally eat out as well. Most mornings he picked us up at 9:30 am for the day out, and dropped us back at our hotel about 2 or 3 pm. In Agra on our last night he tried to talk us out of going to the garden across the River from the Taj Mahal to view the Taj at sunset. He told us the traffic was really bad and it would take us 2 hours to get there. I had to repeatedly insist, and then he dropped us initially in the wrong place, sending us down a quiet lane where there was nobody else except local male labourers hanging out and we could see the Taj some distance off with a farm in between. We did not feel safe there, and though he parked he just waved us off down the lane on our own and waited at his car. Eventually he took us to the right spot where all the other tourists were. On several occasions he tried to insist on taking us to rug or marble factories, though we were very clear that we did not wish to buy any rugs or marble and had already seen them being made previously. Every time we shopped he wanted to know what we bought, how much it cost, did we get it from the shop he suggested. One shop he did take us to in Dilli Haat was very high pressure sales, constantly being followed and harangued to buy, very uncomfortable. Our best shopping was done at Bapu Bazaar in Jaipur on our own, which he tried to dissuade us from because too much traffic to park. I have to say he drove well, he was always on time, but our holiday was ruined by feeling I was constantly battling the driver to do what we wanted to do, and that he caused us to miss one of our main goals to visit Gandhis home / museum. I am sad this was the case, as this was a dream holiday for us. Last of all we were asked to fill in a feedback form, which he promptly opened and read in front of us. I anticipated that, and since I was worried he may not show to take us to the airport or we may get into an ugly dispute in public, I just made the feedback bland and non committal. He intimated that due to our early flight he might not make our required 6 am pickup the next morning and would send someone else. However, as we did not tip him at that point he did show up to take us to the airport. Yes I did give him a tip because he drove us for 12 days and he had 2 kids to support, but the tip would have been much more had the driver been to the standard I expected. I would definitely NOT recommend this company to friends, or anyone else. I also think in retrospect I could have arranged drivers cheaper through my hotels, from conversations I had with other travellers. I feel annoyed to have had to submit this bad review as I went into this with optimism but was badly disappointed. It cost me about 700 AUD for 12 days, which is considerable cost for which I should have gotten much better service than I did. I know I could have contacted the owner to complain during the trip but we felt vulnerable in the situation and did not want to risk a nasty confrontation that would have made things worse.

Dear Joanne, Greetings!!!! Thanks for your feedback, i really feel bad about your experience because from my end i replied your mails and gave you best quote on time. There was no overcharge in prices and no surprises. If you have told me very first day that you are facing this issue, i would have changed the driver or car. I have took 14 years to make a good reputation in Market but it get spoiled by a driver in a day. I always tell all clients that they should call or mail me if any problem. I am also against shopping but drivers has a bad habit and it is all over the world, not only drivers i know many companies who are running travel business on commissions but i am not one of them, To all travelers visiting India, i ,must say that on very first day they should tell the driver that we are in India for a Tour and please don't take us for shopping I apologies for driver bad behavior and will take a action.
