Nadika our guide was amazing, guiding us through the tiny crowded back streets and alleyways of old Delhi market. She was able to combine explaining the history of these streets with the food we were tasting seamlessly. The Old Delhi experience is an insane concoction of mad crazy packed streets with the rich aroma of spices and cooked food while at the same time avoiding the tuctuc and scooters which zip around tooting their horns all the time, it’s an onslaught of your senses but in a most enjoyable way. This is a trip you definitely want to book and won’t regret. Nadika was excellent in guiding us through this madness

Helen and I thoroughly enjoyed our Street Food tour of Old Delhi with our knowledgeable guide Shreya.

She took us to a number of different vendors all of which have a reputation as established businesses serving good food.

Starting with an all day breakfast at a restaurant serving a selection of North Indian street food, including really tasty paranthas stuffed with lemon, mint or vegetables, through to finishing with Kulfi via an Indian smorgasbord of delights.

Travelling through the crowded alleys and streets of Chandni Chowk by foot and rickshaw, Sherya made us feel safe in our surroundings and with the food being eaten. She explained both the history of the food and the vendor supplying it providing a great way to experience Old Delhi and visiting areas that we may not have ventured into.

The tour was absolutely brilliant, the food experience was amazing and we had total trust in our guide, Nadika, regarding the food hygiene.
Nadika, was great, she was well informed and made the whole trip interesting and fun. She took on board our requests and tailored the whole evening for us.
I would recommend anyone to book a trip and see the real heart of Delhi market and its food.
We did the tour in the evening and really saw the market at its busiest.
The only suggestion we would have would be, to make the TukTuk ride a bit shorter. It was a lot of noise and jolting around, which to a westerner not used to that, means you arrive at the next stop slightly frazzled!
Other than that I would recommend Nadika and the tour without hesitation

Nadika led us masterfully through the noisy lanes of old Delhi and took us to some of the best Indian foods we’ve ever had. She was extremely knowledgeable and looked after us exceptionally well - with hand sanitiser, wipes, crossing rides and hailing rickshaws - in a very calm reassuring way. Would thoroughly recommend

We did the evening food walking tour in Old Delhi with Delhi Food Walks and it was amazing. Our guide was Nadika who was lovely, friendly and knowledgeable. The food we ate was delicious and so plentiful. We have been in India for almost a month but we ate food on this tour that we had not tried before and variations of food that we had eaten but it was different to what we had eaten. I would highly recommend this tour, in particular for anyone who wants to try the street food of Delhi but, like me, does not know where to find the best quality food to eat. Thank you Nadika and Delhi Food Walks for an unforgettable experience.

We did the Old Delhi night tour and it exceeded our expectations! The food was delicious, interesting, and a great variety to try. Our guide, Kanak, was wonderful and ensured the food we ate was safe for our foreign bellies. She even asked if we had any dietary resections! Beyond the amazing food, one of the best things about this tour was all of the additional experiences such as visiting a gurudwara, riding a rickshaw, and exploring the vibrant alleys of Chandni Chowk. Our guide Kanak was friendly, funny, and answered all of our many questions! This is a must do for anyone who loves food and culture and is up for the bustle of Chandni Chowk!

Delhi evening food tour was superb. Rav was our tour guide and his passion both for the food but also for us enjoying the food was obvious from the very first stop. We ate so much food I wasn't sure I would recover. The tour was well curated to provide a mixture of dishes and flavours and easily managed any dietary requirements within the group.
Rav gave us lots of information about the stallholders, the food, the culture, the people and the city, it felt like much more than just a food tour. He also made sure we were well looked after throughout the tour as the area was very busy and we took a couple of rickshaw rides too.
I would highly recommend this tour to everyone looking to experience the wonderful food that Delhi has available in a safe and informative way. Most of these places we would never have even found, let alone known what to order!

Dinner walk through Old Delhi is an experience to behold. Words cannot accurately describe the organised chaos in this area of Delhi with food and desserts that will blow your mind. Luckily we had Kanak Sehgal as our guide and she made this amazing adventure. From trying succulent meats in restaurants that have been around for 100 years to breads stuffed with vegetables or cheese (take your pick) from a restaurant through 6 generations. The sounds almost deafen you but after 10 minutes you realise it’s just the way of this part of the city. Truly it’s something you have to do if you are in Delhi and if you can somehow get Kanak to guide you then you’ve got a winner!!!

We met our fabulous guide Shreya who took us on an amazing tour of Old Town Delhi! 2 adults and 2 young teens & we felt so well taken care of by Shreya! We started in the Hindu side of Old Town & then got a pedal rickshaw to the Islamic part before returning on a motorized rickshaw to our pick-up point. The people who work at the food places clearly know/recognize the guide as they approach immediately for our order and go and cook it fresh! We felt totally safe eating fresh food & we had our 22 hour flight the following day!! We tried parathas, a yogurt drink (I've forgotten the name), Biryani, goat/mutton curry, Daulat ki Chaat (milk froth dessert), thumbs up cola (tastes like Pepsi!) and more (I wish I could remember and had written down all the names of the food!!!!!) We would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Delhi! It was about 2.5 hours long and our highlight of visiting Delhi!

We took the night food walk. What a once in a lifetime experience. The wonderful Shreya took us on the most authentic and interesting tour of Old Delhi you could have asked for.

The tour included walking the narrow bustling streets and lanes and passages of Old Delhi interspersed with fantastic rickshaw rides. Shreya was such a good guide sharing openly and with warmth and humour as she explained the many cultural insights. Surrounded by the sights and sounds and smells of this incredible city we had an unforgettable night.

Each stop was unique and bursting with flavour. Tailored to our needs Shreya took care of us and made sure we really did enjoy every moment of the tour. Every kind of Indian bread, authentic korma (nothing like home) and amazing kebab, biriyani and delicious sweet treats some of the most delicious food ever!

This was a memory building experience of a life time and we will never forget this very special night. Thank you Delhi Food Walk.
