Going to Chhatarpur we though we would only see one Temple but in fact there are 4 temples in such close proximity you cannot avoid going to them all. This could take you a good 1/2 day to visit thoroughly each one. We were gobsmacked by the variety of what to see including the red giant statue. Amazing must see

Beautiful complex of temples and gardens with a variety of architectural styles. Visited around 8 am Sunday AM by myself and I look very Western. There were enough other visitors there to be festive but none of the huge crowds I hear about some evenings and holidays. I left shoes and purchased offerings outside the 2 main entrances. The priests... More

I visited Chhatarpur Temple with my friends. Chhatarpur Temple one of the Beautiful temples in Delhi. Temple is so big and is getting constructed from many years. Architecture lovers should visit the South Indian temple. Originally built as an abode to Mata Katyayini, one of the 'avatar's of Goddess Durga, but it also comprises of various other temples of Hanuman,... More

It is mostly very crowded during the navratra festivals. The temple is all built with marble. Anyone can visit this temple and offer prayers to the goddess. On the entrance you will find a... More

It is built in a large complex. Ample space for parking. A large number of devotees visit everyday. Nearby areas are also covered by many large and small temples and ashrams. An overall peaceful and satisfactory visit.

It's large, but it's also located right next to the main road, so you're going to have to deal with traffic. Parking is across the road so walking is also necessary. Well kept and maintained from inside.
