This architectural wonder looks like an enormous lotus blossom, reminiscent of the Sydney Opera House. Too bad the interior isn't even worth a look.

The Lotus Temple is a beautiful building inside and out. It represents all religions coming together to worship and contemplate. We found the building and gardens to be very impressive. Though we arrived quite early on a Sunday morning, there were many visitors there already and lines of people were managed along paths and through the building itself. It was... More

Excellent. Jeswin aka Joeseph showed more than a brochure can offer. He personalized every encounter and enriched each site visited. I hope all your guides are as qualified and forthcoming as Komal and Jeswin. I can't have asked for a better experience in an unfamiliar city. Jeswin helped with many details and concluded with a wonderful dinner recommendation and provided... More

This place is not historic. it's built for pray. ehen you go inside there is an empty hall with chairs that you should seat silently and praying or thinking, nothing to visit. the outside is like a lotus as you can see in the pictures. it has been built 30 years ago by Bahaii's people.

This temple is an architectural marvel constructed in the modern period. The temple looks like a lotus. Its built in the shape of a lotus. There is a meditation hall in the temple which is quite peaceful. There are several ponds in the temple campus. The temple is very well maintained.

Beautiful temple, lovely gardens, peaceful surroundings. Well worth a visit. Very tranquil and sitting inside the temple is a very peaceful and meditative experience. Shoes to be taken off and bagged before entering the temple. Short intro provided by the volunteers before you enter to explain the origin of the Bahai faith and religion. Everyone is welcome.
