This architectural wonder looks like an enormous lotus blossom, reminiscent of the Sydney Opera House. Too bad the interior isn't even worth a look.

The Bahai Lotus temple is beautiful to look at and represents the peaceful dialogue among all religions which in itself is a great cause. The staff was really helpful and nice. However, as nice as the building is from the outside inside it has not...More

Quaintly tucked away in Nehru place, this is not a very frequented tourist attraction. I feel that this is a beautiful place and everyone visiting Delhi must visit Lotus temple.

Very officious security - shoes off as soon as you get close to the temple. My shoes were probably cleaner than a lot of the barefoot locals' feet.

Once you get past the long lines and get a speech about silence and significance of the temple you will truly find tranquility when you enter within the Lotus temple.

Architecturally very impressive from both inside and out. Admission is free and the grounds are well maintained. After removing our shoes we were herded into a single file queue and scolded if we stepped out of line.... felt more like a prison line than a...More

Took a metro to Kalkaji Mandir Metro station and this place is walkable from there. Ignore auto guys who tell you that the Lotus temple is "very far" . Queues await you once inside if you wish to attend the prayer meet. No queues if...More

do not wear your expensive shoes, because you have to them out. There is no need for you to go inside, because from the inside it is empty and a place for prayer and silence. People however do not respect this. Tey come there with...More
