Cal India tours put in a lot of effort to make the tour so enjoyable and our guide Sam, was amazing and so kind. India has a never-ending list of incredible sites to see…sunrise at the Taj Mahal is a must-see. Aside the excruciating heat which I had been told about prior to the trip, my golden triangle tour was out of this world. In addition, I had the opportunity to meet five amazing women on the tour and we bonded so well like family.

This three week private tailer-made tour of Mumbai, Hyderabad, the Deccan Plateau and Bengaluru was excellent. Hampi was everything we expected and was the highlight of our trip. The trip was well planned, expert guides, and great driver who looked after us. The team at Cal India Tours discussed our requirements when planning the trip, and kept in touch during the trip to check everything was going well.

Just brilliant!

The Golden Triangle Trip to Delhi, Agra and Jaipur is an exceptional experience. Cal India did not spare any luxury. An outstanding tour coordinator, excellent guides, wonderful hotels and sumptuous meals. Indian hospitality at its highest.

A private tour was arranged for me to include both sightseeing and Rotary activities. I was thrilled to be able to assist in giving polio vaccines to 90 babies and children in a village outside of Agra as well as visiting a Rotary sponsored school. My driver picked me up in Delhi and was with me for 6 days to Agra, Jaipur and back to Delhi.

The packaged post rotary convention tour, dubbed 'the Golden Triangle Tour' was an experience of a lifetime. The CEO of the tour company is a rotarian and he did exercise rotarian values and respect in the exceptional tour he planned for us.

He took us to 3 major cities in India ie New Delhi, Agra and Jaipur. We were lodged in 5 star hotels and the vehicle was most comfortable with a very conscientious driver.

*Sam, our tour guide is the most patient, calm, flexible, in short, in my opinion, the best tour guide in the world.* In addition to Sam, we had excellent local tour guides in each City.

I hate traveling by road and was apprehensive at the outset. However, at the end of it all, I didn't feel that I had done 2 × 500 miles journeys plus one 350 miles.

We visited top tourist spots like the famous Taj Mahal, Agra Fort, Kalakriti - Indian ceramic art. We had an Indian cooking session.
On our way to Jaipur, we visited
- Fatehpur Sikri Fort and Laxmi Vilas Palace.

In Jaipur, we visited the pink city Palace, Hawa Mahal. Some of us braved it on an elephant to Amber Fort while others went via jeeps. We visited the Albert Museum.

In New Delhi, we visited:
- Jama Mosque
- India Gate. We took an exciting rickshaw ride to the open Spice Market and visited the Mahatma Ghandi museum.

Even though the temperature was about 40 to 52 degrees, we put up with the heat.

I will recommend CAL INDIA TOURS again and again and again.

In september we travelled with a group of 12 friends in Agra and surroundings. It was an unforgettable experience!
We got a warm welcome in Delhi by our guide Fred and the drivers. In Agra for sure we visit the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort! Our guide was very knowledgeable, and a good story teller.
We visited Mathura, the birthplace of Lord Krishna. A very holy place, with a lot of visitors from all over India. Despite the crowd, our guide organised it very good!
In Gwalior we visited the museum and the fort. The local guide told us a lot about the history of the city. Extra special was that we were the only European tourists.
The trip ended in Delhi, and before departure we also visited important parts of the old city.

Our guide Fred found the best places for us to eat. He gave advice about specialties, and nobody got stomach problems.
And when one of the group got a severe flu, a medical doctor visited her!
Fred was very flexible and made the greatest experience for us.

Our request to the tour organiser Rahul was to see the real India, not just the tourist parts. This was done very well. We ate locally, went to visit traditional craftsmen and visited special places.
I would recommend everyone to plan a tour with Cal India!
