There are quite some tour operators that offer Golden Triangle tours to Delhi, Agra and Jaipur. So we approached several operators, but it was soon clear that When In India had the most personal approach. Taruna asked us a number of questions so we could clarify our interests and goals for the tour. Based on that we received a suggested, customized itinerary from Taruna, which we could discuss and adjust to our interests.
We booked a 7-day triangle tour for our group of 4 people, with our own car and personal driver throughout the whole period. For every city, WII had booked expert local guides who could tell us all we wanted to know about the cities, monuments, culture and so on. The driver was flexible and available whenever we needed him. He was also a very professional driver who drove us expertly and safe through the often chaotic Indian traffic.
Besides visiting the 3 cities with many highlights, Taruna also offered a visit to Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary. We went to this bird park for several hours with a local guide, who showed us many birds (of course), but also snakes, deer and bats. This was a really fun and interesting addition to our tour.
All planned visits and meetings with guides went smoothly and according to plan. Taruna checked in with us at the start of the tour and also now and then during the tour, just to make sure that all was going well. This personal approach was really appreciated by us as first-time visitors to India. It made us feel she wanted our tour to be a real success (and it was!).
We can only recommend When In India and we will certainly contact Taruna again for our next visit to India.

Best hotel ever for me own experience, love riu palace
It was my second time around just love it 😊
Lovely and warm staff , they’re very friendly kind caring team management is amazing can’t fault riu palace . Went for 10 days for New Year’s Eve , I had an amazing experience, well if u need to get way and relax and enjoy yourself riu palace is the palace, just be open minded 😎 and embrace the whole experience and just relax , allow things to happen naturally . My advice is Treat people as you would like to be treated then u won’t have any problems .
They’re are just amazing 😉 they treat me nice each time I go back can’t complain, miss my cocktails 🍹 by the pool amazing place , try it
There is so much to do in the day time and at night
Bars , discos , activities around the island , by the beach on the back of the hotel they’re tour guys I recommend (Dylan ) lovely pleasant guy , polite . the beach 🏖 in Santa Maria is beautiful is 5 minutes by taxi 🚖 from palace to the beach only cost 3 escudos at night u only pay 4 escudos , don’t just stay in the resort go out and explore the town , the town is safe.

I can't say enough about When in India tours. Taruna was top notch since the time we started planning and throughout over 4-day trip. She hit all the highlights around Agra, New Delhi and old Delhi. The itinerary was perfect for the time we had. Mr. Kashmir was our driver for the entire trip. He was always on time and very courteous. He was our single point of contact ensuring that we were where we were supposed to be on a daily basis. Our guides in Delhi were excellent! They spoke fluent English and where very informative.
The best part was that Taruna would touch base with us multiple times a day during the trip to ensure everything was going as expected and that we were having a great time. Thank you entire team of When in India tours for making our vacation a true memory!!

We landed in Delhi at 11.30 a.m. and by 14.30 we were on an Old Delhi Rickshaw Tour with Saurav our guide. Although slightly jet lagged it was an amazing experience as he guided us safely though the crowded old streets and into Temples experiencing the wonderful sounds and smells. We would definitely recommend Saurav and 'When in India'.

Along with my mother we did a one day tour to Taj Mahal. It was truly an amazing experience as everything was organized well. Taruna was always accessible for all queries. They gave us special recommendations for places to eat in Agra as my mother is a pure vegetarian.
I would highly recommend them as they are one amongst very few in the market who lives up to their values of excellence and going extra mile for their customers.

This 3-hour tour allowed us to visit old Delhi, the different street markets, temples and historic sights. We were able to have a feel
for the live in old Delhi and learn about local customs. I would recommend this tour with Ruti and Ahmed.

Fabulous Trip with When in India
We are a family of Six ranging from our 12 year old child to eighty one year old parent. We wanted to arrange a flawless day trip to Agra.
Our neighbours had recommended us this company which is run by two girls - Taru & Ritu. We contacted them and Taru gave us precise information and arranged a trip for us. Although it was a short day trip, she took care of the smallest of things. She gave us precise information, arranged a well maintained Tempo Traveller with an excellent driver, knowledgeable guides, good restaurants, interesting sights etc. She was very accomodative to all our needs and understood our requirements well.
We had a fantastic time and are already planning our next trip to the hill stations of Himalayas with them.

We did this tour with 2 children (ages 5 & 8) and the guide (Joe) was brilliant. He engaged really well with the children and shared information that he thought would be of interest to them. He was very flexible, happily skipping over bits that they weren’t so interested in and added on bits at their request (for example tasting spices). Everything ran very smoothly and he ensured we were very well looked after with water, wipes for our feet, umbrellas for shade. He even helped us using the metro for the first time, at the end of our tour. The tour was very interesting, we particular enjoyed seeing the bazaars and the spice market. We highly the tour and this company.

We had a short stay in New Delhi and wanted to book a half day tour for specific sites. We browsed the internet looking for a tour that met our requirements and didn't find one. Then we found When In India tours and found that they would allow us to define our own half day tour. Ritu Kaira was extremely responsive and we booked they exact tour that we wanted. (Our tour included the Gurudwara Bangla Saheb, Humayun Tomb, Lodhi Gardens, and National Crafts Museum}.
Mr. Neil was our guide and I don't remember the drivers name. Mr. Neil was very knowledgeable, gave us many insights, and allowed us to set the pace at each of sites that we visited. He added to our requested sites by including Kutub Minar (which was wonderful) and other drive-by sites. He gave us a least an hour beyond the contracted length of the tour.
We were very happy with When In India tours and with Mr. Neil as our guide.

We all loved our tour of Old Delhi with Ritu and the rickshaw drivers. They took very good care of 3 very jet-lagged visitors during our tour and lunch break. Providing headsets so we could all hear the guide's narrative was an excellent idea and distinguishes this tour company from all the others we encountered during our visit to India. I especially enjoyed the spice market and was very glad I had a face mask as I inhaled the pungent odors. I highly recommend this tour for all visitors to Delhi.

We are 2 person coming to India in late Oct/ Dec 2017.Can you give me an itinerary for the Golden triangle tour and we would also like to include Udaipure and Varanasi. Will you arrange train / internal flight when necessary ?.
We will fly in and out of Delhi from the UK.
Do you meet at the airport and convey to our hotel on arrival ? We have allowed 14 days in total for the tours..

Hi Jennie, thank you for your question. Usually guests go from Delhi to Agra and then from Agra to Jaipur. It's called the Golden Triangle because of how the cities are located.

Hello,
I'd like to inquire about a 3 day tour of the golden triangle. I am traveling solo.
On April 8, I'd like to start with a tour of Delhi, then one night in Agra and one night in Jaipur. Also would like to see Fatehpuh Sikri. Finally, drop-off at Delhi airport on April 10 by 7pm.
