Driving from NV to CO I stopped to stay overnight after driving 450 miles across the NV and deserts. Wasn't expecting much out of a small town hotel but was blown away. Hot tub and indoor pool that was as warm as a bathtub, unbelievably low rate, hot breakfast included, and friendly staff. Room was clean and modern, free wifi, plenty of parking. I stay many nights a year for work [this was a vacation trip] but this hotel really was superior to most all the others I have stayed at over the last 8 months. Also had a gas station and a full service restaurant in walking distance but I didn't use them as I had everything I needed at the hotel. Had the same experience on my way to Nevada at Richfield, UT Quality Inn. Maybe they share the same ownership--I don't know. Would recommend 100% to anyone passing this way. A true Oasis in the desert.

A place to feel the old Goa, be it the architecture, locality, Art galleries. Need to walk a lot to experience and enjoy. Have a good Camera and don't forget to carry a water bottle . Visit either during the morning or evening hours because it is too hot during the peak of the day. Visit to Fontainhas is incomplete if you don't visit the Altino hills Maruthy temple. From where you can have a good view of the the new Atal Bridge over Mandovi River.

Great trip with Suraj. Picked us up bang on time from our hotel, on the outskirts of Varanasi, then the usual hell for leather tuktuk ride to the heart of Benares and the ghats. Suraj was really knowledgeable about all aspects of Hindu culture, and the boat ride had the plus of being a rowing boat, rather than a motor launch, so it was a lot easier to hear the guide and a lot more atmospheric. Not sure if the boatman agrees, but he didn’t complain and did a sterling job. No hassling at the end to visit trinket shops, (which lets down a lot of guides in India, I know they get a commission, but if I wanted carpets/coffee tables/carved elephants, I’d ask). Suraj knee the good spots to see the Hindu ritual, we had front row seats.

This was a brilliant tour combining beautiful vistas from a boat ride on the river and walking through the hidden back streets and the ghats of Varanassi. Our guide was really friendly and knowledgable - he shared lots of interesting insights into the Hindu culture and helped bring the Hindu religion to life for us. We visited an ancient temple, the burning ghats, saw amazing architecture and local everyday street scenes and visited a chai shop. All of this made for an amazing experience which we would highly recommend.

For lovers of all things food and culture - this tour is a unique experience! Beginning with a walk around the fascinating historic neighborhood of Nizamuddin, we ended up being served dinner on a rooftop overlooking the local architecture and streets below. We were treated to a full course dinner consisting of several dishes (all made with fresh ingredients bought on the same day). If you are looking for something different and exciting to do in Delhi, I would highly recommend going there.
