For sure, it doesn't match with its name. It is not at all maintained. Forget about flowers, you will find Stray dogs roaming like it is their own place. Couples are gathered everywhere and shamelessly busy in their activities. I went with my wife and 3 year old daughter and literally feel embarrassed at many occasions. Really, it is not a place you would like to take your family along. All the statues are either dirty or somewhat broken. The worst part is first they have entry ticket and then you need to pay for using toilets as well. The toilets are not at all maintained. The ladies toilet was hell dirty like it hasn't been cleaned from days. Gents toilet had the same problem as well. Soap is filled with only water. They have left water running in urinals. Food in canteen is ok. To me, it looked like, I have come to see some old heritage site rather than a garden. Please, don't go and waste your time and money.

Architecture and landscape:
The entry is very artistically done. The wall in its self is a piece of art. It has an amazing mix of different stones, textures and colours that have been woven together. Most of the flora and fauna have been left untouched so you still have that rustic feeling and the gardens embedded in between are magnificent. Best viewing is winter and spring when the flowers are in full bloom. The path ways are interesting interspersed with sculptures .

What can you do there:
1. The amphitheater is a spot where a lot of good music and dance performances happen. Check online for events.
2. Its a great place to walk as its got various levels
3. There are camel rides which kids enjoy. I am really scared so just tried it once and it frightened the hell out of me.
4. Food court: Its buzzing with food stallls which are the best of the local cuisine like food from the old Delhi area on events

5. A few shops and boutiques are sprinkled around especially to the west end of the garden. A bit pricey but good. There are two big restaurants with its entry from outside the park that are good and happening espically later in the evening.

Getting there:
Well serviced with Autos from the main road and metro station.
The nearest metro station in Saket
I have actually waked down from the metro station as the winding road to the garden is dotted with craft shops and boutique restaurants with a rather rustic setting so its an interesting 15min walk.

Flower show of this garden is an important event in February. Park timings are from 9am-6 pm with entry ticket of Rs 30/- and its off located on Mehrauli Badarpur road. We had a good family time during the show and enjoyed various flower varieties in full bloom. There is exhibition cum sale of nursery during the show. Place has lot of eateries around. It has elaborate walking tracks. Good for family picnics. There is peace and tranquility all around when the show os over. Its perched on top a hill. It has a restaurant inside and lot of water plants too. Its a good educational tour for families too.

Enchanting Garden that reminded me of the book "The secret garden". True, I saw lots of young couples but I saw groups of friends, some older couples and some families too. Main thing is in February, its an oasis in a busy city, a feast for the senses full of greenery, color, sculptures, winding paths with surprises at every corner such as a lily pool etc. Lovely place. Worth spending 2-4 hours depending on how much of a nature and plant lover you are. I don't know how this garden is in other months but I am guessing its at its best Jan-Mar.

The park is very run down and not well maintained. I would compare it to an overgrown amusement park that closed down 15 years ago, is now falling apart and rusted, and is overrun by teen couples looking for a place to hide their very blatant PDA from the general public view. There is "couple" PDA everywhere you turn. All the shops and buildings are vacant, filled with garbage, and falling apart. There are stray dogs everywhere. Very few flowers.
I will say that it has a lot of potential if they ever decide to clean it up. But as it is, it was a waste of time and money, and it would be an embarrassment to send anyone there.

The garden was recommended by several persons. It's website and Wikipedia also sang its praises. According to Wikipedia, there are restaurants and bars in there. Just the right spot to celebrate my wife's 75th birthday with her sister and sister's husband. Soon as we entered, we saw a young couple indulged in PDA. Just a short distance away, a sadhu was deep in meditation. Other smooching couples were trying to merge in the background. The restaurants/bars promised by Wikipedia were non-existent. The garden's maintenance leaves a lot to be desired. The toilet situated at the far end of the 20-acre park is dirty, with broken taps and no water but boasts of hundreds of discarded plastic bottles. All in all, this park is not for families and senior citizens. One of the two vendors selling noodles asked us what we doing in the park. We were wondering ourselves.
(It is not allowing to upload the picture of bottles around the toilet)

Went there alone and was a huge embarrassment. The garden is a nice place but is used primarily by the love birds. So can be a huge embarrassment with family. Even the person at the gate said so. Nothing specific inside the park.

We went to Garden of Five Sense during the end of third week of February 2012. During this period, Delhi Tourism organised their 25th Garden Tourism Festival in the Garden of Five Senses, so I had a unique opportunity to avil this program. It was really excellent for all. During this Festival, it was looking like Garden of beautiful colours with beautiful flowers & varieties of plants. There is no charge for photography here. A must visit for all when flower exhibition goes on in the winter season. This was totally different than you go to the same place any other time in the year. If you have 2 hours of time in hand you may visit the Qutub Miner which is near this place.

The 20.5 acre of Garden of Five Sense is located in Mehrauli-Badarpur Road of Said-Ul-Azaib area. Nearest metro station is Saket. The Garden remains open everyday of the week during 9:00 am to around 6:00 pm and entry fees for the adult is Rs.20.00, Child Rs.10.00 & Sr. Citizen Rs.10.00 only.

This is surely not for those tourists who are in Delhi for a short period and have water tight itinerary. But if you have ample time in your hand then you may consider it. This is serene and beautiful garden. Especially during spring season. This park organises flower show in the month of February. There is an Indo-Italian Restro-bar inside the Park. The ambience is great with good music. Couples can have good times together there.

Important Info:
1. Free Parking available just outside the park.
2. Entry fee is INR 30.
3. Photography with phone is permitted but not with professional camera. (god knows why this stupid rules)
4. "Fio" Restro-bar can be found right near the entrance.
5. The Park closes at 6:30 pm but the restaurant remains open till mid night.

The garden really does deliver what it promises. The variety of attractions left us spell-bound and we did not feel like leaving the place at all.

The garden covers a huge area and thus guarantees perfect privacy for couples who are looking for some time together.

Those people who are complaining of finding couples in every nook and cranny are just venting out some unreasonable anguish as I did not see the couples doing anything unsocial in the middle of the visitors.

However, I must warn you that the consumable items are sold at outrageous prices which are way above their maximum retail price.

A perfect place, if you want to spend a day with your family, friends and loved ones.

P.S: The website says no fees but it does have one. It is Rs. 20 for Indians.
