This was my first trip to India and Indian administered Kashmir. Fida was my personal tour guide in Srinagar/Gulmarg. These two cities were absolutely one of my favorite experiences from my trip. I felt safe and comfortable roaming around and exploring Srinagar with Fida and the driver Nissar. My snowboarding plans had fallen through with an instructor in Gulmarg, but Fida was able to fix that and secured me with another instructor and gear on the same day. I was very thankful and excited that I was able to snowboard in the Himalayas! One piece of advice I'd give is to be cautious of places that your tour guide takes you to. Sometimes the prices are unnecessarily jacked up when there are cheaper options. This could be due to loyalties between companies and the travel agency. But just speak up to your travel agent if you notice that and want to go to a different spot. When I come back to Kashmir, I'm definitely calling Fida to help plan another memorable trip!

We have to thank Fida of Astera Tours for a fantastic and seamless Rajasthan-Agra-Delhi trip. During the planning phase, Fida was very patient and most helpful in providing suggestions on how to maximize our one week trip. We wanted to experience Delhi and Agra, and cover as much as Rajasthan as possible. Fida facilitated our hotel bookings and land travel and acted as our tour guide for the whole trip. We were booked in top rated hotels at reasonable prices. We had a fantastic time touring old and new Delhi and onward to Agra for the Taj and other historic sites. Fida is an astute guide and has a wide knowledge of the different places of interest. Our Rajasthan leg was most memorable. Fida guided us through Mandawa, Bikaner, Pushkar, Jodphur and Jaipur. We loved the hotels and restaurants that Fida suggested and appreciated his guiding skills. We will not hesitate to recommend Fida and Astera Tours for all your travel needs in India.

I really enjoyed the tour just after lockdowns both driver and guide were extremely careful with safety and preventive measures. the pickup was tight on time and the guide made the visits much more interesting, he answered all the questions. Thank you Fida and Atera team for the wonderful experience.

I really enjoyed my holidays with Astera Tours. The CEO Mr Fida personally took us around Sri Nagar and Gulmarg, he is such a nice person. Fida treats us as a family, I fell sick and he took me to hospital and was there until I recovered, he is just an angel, he was like a son to me. Fida makes u feel at home. His explanation when he took us around is tremendous and in detailed. I highly recommend whoever ones to go to India and especially Khasmir please contact Astera Tours and speak to Mr Fida. Khasmir is a beautiful place. Gulmarg was a good experience with snow falling. Fida make sures your stay is worth what I pay for.

My Kerala adventure, organized by Fida at Astera Tours, was an absolute dream! From the moment we hit the road, every turn brought new wonders. Munnar’s misty hills were like something out of a fairy tale, while Alleppey’s stunning backwaters felt like pure magic. Sure, the winding roads and lack of internet made the journey a bit challenging, but the jaw-dropping scenery made it all worth! The hotels—Fragrant Munnar, Cochin, and Spice Route Alleppey—were simply fantastic, blending luxury with cozy charm. And the food? Absolutely divine! Every meal felt like an explosion of flavors I didn’t want to end. Even the light rain couldn’t dampen the vibe—it added a refreshing, almost mystical touch to the whole experience. The best part, though, was the people! Courteous, warm, and always eager to help, they made me feel right at home. This trip was an adventure for the senses, and I can’t recommend it enough!

We do not want the usual tourist package because we want a relaxed holiday and to visit only certain places, stay in good hotels, and do simple activities. Fida and his team can do that for you and more. The team can even help you with getting ticket rides, and local sim cards and recommending some activities that are of your interest.
Amritsar, Srinagar, Gulmarg, Chandigarh, Simla, Manali, and Dharamshala in 19 days with flights and cars in 19 days. Great time!
Another thing that sets apart Fida from the rest is that he may not be there in front of you all the time, but he will handle issues immediately when the need arises.
This is my second time using Fida and he certainly delivers on both occasions. He can customize and recommend to you the best options. Tell him what you want, and he can tell you the options.

I don’t have enough words about Astra Tours who help me to find most wonderful tour in India. First surprise was in Airport someone waiting with my name at 3am when I arrive. All hotels Car, sightseeing and Driver was amazing. Driving was speaking very well English and explain me everything around Rajistan. I can’t wait to go back India. Astera Tours provided top rate service and accommodations. Fida was great at organizing my customized trip to Gulmarg to ski the Himalayas. From the pick up at the airport, the 9 days of rooms, meals, and transport to & from Srinagar to Gulmarg all went smoothly and was to the quality expected. Additional to my planned itinerary I did a wonderful day tour of Srinagar. Fida was very good at understanding his clients and gave a great tour of the architectural and social sites. i.e. Temples, historical bdg., local shops, food & chai vendors. Fida's knowledge of Srinagar and India in general, along with his social and political sauve made for interesting and intellectual conversation. Whether it is a fully organized tour or help planning a customized adventure Astera Tours provides professional, services with the personal touch.

Fida is an informative guide with plenty of knowledge about Srinagar and its intricacies. If you are looking for an in-depth city tour, then I recommend their services. Everything was managed well and we thoroughly enjoyed it.
