I went to Jaisalmer, Rajasthan on a 2N,3D trip around the new year's. Jaisalmer had been on my bucket list for a long time and this was my first experience of traveling with a travel group and leaving all the planning in the hands of unknown. My unbiased views on the trip organization are below:
1. The captains.
They did just did a marvelous job of handling and taking care of the whole group of 80 odd people throughout the journey. They were receptive to the concerns, they guided us well and mingled with the whole group really well. The energy and the dedication of the captains stood out for me and really made this trip a smooth experience for me and my friends. Kudos to the captains afreen,shourya,nidhi,sonal for their tireless efforts.
2. The experience
The landmarks we visited truly gave us a good touristy feeling. Our experience included the stay in the desert camp, night safari, visit to kuldhara village, laungewala border post, patwaon ki haveli, Jaisalmer Fort plus a bonus new year's party at a truly remarkable Kaku the cafe. We were on a tight schedule to cover all these and not all seemed to be worthwhile but we still had a memorable experience. The captains gave us ample space and flexibility yet kept us on track to cover all these landmarks timely. There was a general sentiment in the group that we could have skipped some of the above attractions and instead gone to somewhere else. The attractions to bisit could be more thought of the next time by wanderon team. Also, managing such a big group at these attractions becomes haphazard sometimes like it happened at the Jaisalmer fort during our trip where it got difficult to keep track of the group in such a crowded place.
3. My recommendation
Wanderon certainly won over my trust and I will definitely recommend anyone going solo or in a group to plan a trip with wanderon sometime. But, if you are the kind who wants a little freedom and who likes to do things on their own, I would suggest to plan your itinerary alongside the group and see if you can derive the maximum out of your trip and then decide whether you want to go with the group. Based on my experience this time however, I trust wanderon to give me a memorable experience and I would happily refer wanderon to anyone. I have also attached some of the great shots that we captured during the trip.

Travelling with WanderOn means fun guaranteed. I travelled with them on the recent Himachal Bagpacking trip. The entire itinerary, food, accommodation & local travel was beyond expectations. The additional musical Bonfire sessions with @SandyBhai and the crazy Jakooza have created stories for lifetime.
What worried me before the trip was how would they manage such a huge group, but 5 stars to the planning and coordination! The group captains are the best part of a trip with WanderOn. They not only ensured punctuality across the trip duration, but also kept good care of smallest things in the moments that matter. They try their best to mingle with every person in the group and make them comfortable, and just chill out with you whenever possible, while also keeping the Josh high all the time. The captains are real fun and ♥️.
Looking forward to many more trips with WanderOn!!

What a brilliant way to conclude a year and start a new one. In the chilly and shivering weather in Himachal during the month of December, we could make some warm and lifelong memories. We, group of five people, went on Himachal Bagpacking trip with WonderOn and made many more friends. The captains from WonderOn made the trip so fun and exciting by giving the best experience one can get in the local of that place. We covered all the off beat places in and around Kasol which were gems and treat to the eyes. All in all, it was worth taking two weeks off for.

One of the most unprofessional agencies out there. Zero transparency about their policies. The salesmen badger you for the money to book a deal with them and then go completely incognito when you want to reach out to them.
Finally when I could get somebody on the line I was spoken to so badly and point blank refused my money (this was when I gave them a 1 MONTH notice of cancellation).
They put me through the process of begging and pleading for my own money and put me through such a humiliation.
And I was forced to stay quiet out of helplessness because óbviously nobody will respond to you in the company
There are a million places out there, PLEASE do not ever risk going with these guys.
Finally when I could get somebody on the line I was spoken to so badly and point blank refused my money (this was when I gave them a 1 MONTH notice of cancellation).

An amazing offering , highly energetic and responsible captains , perfect management . These are the few in long list of appreciation for WanderOn.
So lets start with Trip overview. Trip was to Jaisalmer from 29th dec ‘19 to 2nd jan ‘20 .
as it was high rush new year time , There was some issue with one of two bus provided. First Destination was camping, those camps were awesome and beautiful . Food was delicious . Service was also too good. Folk dance and other activities were too good.
NYE was planned at a Cafe recommended by Captains of our bus Afreen and shourya. It was worth to see that cafe . It was awesome night .
Last year i went to 7 trips inclusive of this trip , 4 out 7 trips were with different Travel agencies . Every time we were disappointed with there service , but for wanderOn its ThumsUp . We are looking forward for another trip with them already.
Afreen and shorya were too good and responsible they never let anybody feel isolated in whole trip. They took all the responsibilities , from waking up early in the morning and make sure to knock doors of every person to get ready on time , to drive them to hotel/camps on time safely. Hats off to them . Highly recommended ,
One suggestion to WanderOn -: From next time pls make sure for good travelling bus . Bus was not upto mark for this type of long journey .

This was my first winter trek in India and I'm happy I chose *Wanderon* as the trek partner.
My trek dates were 27 Dec 2019 to 02 Jan 2020. Trek location was Bir /Billing-Kasol-Kheerganga.
Wanderon is quite cost effective, professional, and operates with friction free execution of processes.
My group captains *Bunny and Tabish* were extremely coordial and made sure each one of us was comfortable at every point during the trek. This personal touch feels like a family away from home. I started solo but ended my trek by making many good friends, and some for lifetime I'm sure.
Bunny and Tabish both know their jobs very well. Having said that, they gelled with each one of us beautifully. These qualities are very essential as a group captain.
They have good improvising skills which is very much required in a trek like this.
I'd certainly love to travel/trek with Wanderon for sure, and would love to have either of these two gentlemen as trek guides.
I'd certainly recommend Wanderon for your trek expeditions 👌

This was my very first trip with WanderOn and I had one hell of a great time. It was a very long journey to Joshimath (where our stays were arranged) from Delhi, but not one moment was not worth remembering. We had in our bus, the team captains, @Aayush and @Ayush, and they made the entire journey fun and memorable with all the games they made us play, the jokes and some great music. We stopped on our way early in the morning for DevPrayag. By the time, we reached Auli, we were completely exhausted, but these people arranged a bonfire for us in front of our hotel, where we had an amazing time. The next morning we went to Auli on a ropeway. Everything was arranged before hand by WanderOn including the ski activity. There was a very small trek of around 3 km after the ski activity. The team captains were really great in managing 12-15 people and ensured that everyone completed the trek. All in all, it was a fun trip, and thanks to WanderOn for making this trip worthwhile. And thanks to @Aayush and @Ayush for making us laugh till our stomachs hurt all throughout the journey. I look forward to book another trip with WanderOn soon 😊.

I'd start by appreciating the tour captains Aayush and Nipun,by far they were the most qualified, humble, cooperative,chilled out, experienced,etc., I'm out of words for their appreciation cz they were that good. I'd give them 5/5. But about wanderon I'd say, could get better with their planning since there was a little mismanagement and delay during the trek for which I wouldn't blame the captains. The most disappointing thing was that when the trek got over,we were left on the road at the Delhi Akshardham metro station at 5:15am in the chilling weather of Delhi which was close to 6-7° despite of asking wanderon team before booking the trek that what time would we be dropped off at Delhi to which they said that the drop would be around 12-1 in the noon so accordingly we made all the arrangements. I do understand that the time can get a little here and there but leaving the whole group helpless on the road at 5am was a very disappointing thing,they could have made atleast some arrangements. My suggestion would be that you have such amazing tour captains so you should invest in a good management team too. Overall experience was good but only cz the captain's handled the situations well.

Travelling to mountains after almost 10 years, skeptical about travelling solo, I signed-up for this trip by WanderOn, and I am glad I did 😌
WanderOn assigned two captains for a bunch of 13 people, which was really comforting. The moment we boarded the bus, they introduced fellow travellers with each other through an activity, that served as a perfect ice breaker. The itinerary was very well designed, and the arrangements were superb - we stayed in a river side property which was so beautiful and surreal. We were briefed about activities for the day, were patiently answered all our queries, and were kept engaged throughout.
We trekked for two days, rafted on third, and in between sneaked out time for some jamming, dance, stargazing, and games. Having some guitarists (one being the captain) in the group really added icing on the cake - lucky ali, 90s Bollywood, prateek kuhad, we sang them all.
Tirthan valley is a very beautiful place, and opting to explore that with wanderOn made the experience more memorable. This was my first of its kind trip, and turned out to be very special. Thanks to WanderOn for a wonderful planning,
the captains (Prashant and Bharat) who've set the bar really high for my future travels, and fellow travellers who didn't feel like strangers but home :)

I had an amazing experience with WanderOn. We had Sandy leading our small group through Meghalyas whose serenity and unperturbed beauty left me in a state of awe. It was a well organized trip with specific attention to exploring the off beat sites and having a holistic experience. Further, the nightly music sessions by Sandy made it all the more memorable.i definitely recommend WanderOn

Hi , I just came across Wander On and everything seems good but I would like to know a) whether the trips can be customised for a couple ? ( because most of the reviews seems like it is for group of people ). B) There won’t be any travel such as flights included in ant packages right ?. Thanks in advance guys!!

Went on a trip to Tirthan valley, Himachal Pradesh with the team WanderOn, I enjoyed a lot, the team was amazing, the place was beautiful and unexplored. Soon am really planning to make another trip with Wanderon.

Went for a trip to Tirthan valley with WanderOn, and I had one of the most amazing times there. The team really made sure we were comfortable with everything provided. All the three Captains that we had; Fareed, Nikhil and Rashee, were such cool people to hang out with. Also they made sure we have best of the time, and nothing falls less for us. Loved how friendly we all got. Extra points for how greatly three of them went through all the tantrums thrown. Too co-operative and really fun to be with. Much love for three of them!

It was my first trip with Wanderon. Aravind, Udit n entire team of Wanderon is kind, helpful n humble...just that they can improvise on organising the trip a little better n ensure we stick to the itinerary. It will also be helpful if they mention Do's and Dont's.. Overall it was amazing

I went to Leh Ladakh roadtrip with WanderOn. The best thing about wanderOn is that they know what youths would wanna do. They will take you to the perfect photo points. In the calm cold mountains bonfire with live guitar is an amazing experience. The accommodations are clean and comfortable. They will also keep in mind your health. They will guide you what food you should take in particular terrains so that you don’t fall sick.
Do choose wanderOn for your next trip. 🙌
