We were very lucky to have Mr Kamal as our driver on our tour of India (from Delhi via Agra, Jaipur, Ranthambhore and back to Delhi). He proved to be a truly outstanding companion and made our trip unforgettable.
Mr Kamal was always punctual, reliable and extraordinarily polite. We are two couples of friends struggling with the first trip to India.
We would recommend this service for the following reasons:
- Flexibility, think that Mr. Kumar picked us up at the airport on time despite our flight had been brought forward by 3 hours and we had been notified only the night before;
- Safe Guide, accompanied for 10 days by Mr. Sevinder (our actual driver) despite Indian traffic, animals on the street and rains (it happened that some road flooded) we had no problem whatsoever.
- Careful in satisfying our requests, it facilitated us a lot to be accompanied by someone who knew exactly where to leave us , where to make the ticket , the opening and closing times of the various attractions etc ..
- Presence of Wi-fi in the car.
- Savinder also provided us with a lot of interesting information about local culture, religion, customs etc. but especially in raising awareness about avoiding tourist traps, unfortunately very common.

We had a great time with Private Driver India! The itinerary was highly flexible during the planning process and during our time in the country. Our driver Ajit was very professional- we always felt safe in the car despite heavy traffic. He also had great recommendations for things to do and restaurants which we appreciated! Mr. John. Savi was an extremely punctual, serious, prudent and helpful driver to meet our demands within his means. His car was comfortable, air-conditioned and always kept spotlessly clean.
We were looking for a driver who could take us to the various points along the Golden Triangle and then visit them freely and this did not disappoint my expectations.
I really appreciated the fact that I was never taken to shops or on "forced" guided tours as I requested when booking. Even in restaurants we have never been brought to him except at our explicit request, his advice, including those on where to eat, have always proved useful. I also liked his willingness to exchange money when I had no availability of Rupees.
When booking communication with Mr. Kumar was quite simple. We have chosen and booked the accommodations independently.
I chose other agencies to respect them because they gave me the impression of greater clarity and transparency about what was included and excluded in the itinerary and I think I made the right choice in that respect.
In this regard, the tour included two guided tours: one to Agra and one to Jaipur which we then decided not to use.
In Agra we were taken by Mr. Raj, a nice guy with a good Italian, at the Taj Mahal and the Agra Fort. Although the Taj Mahal was within easy walking distance from our accommodation (about 1.2 km away of which the last 400-500 m however completions forbidden to traffic) he showed up with Tuk Tuk in tow (at our expense and overpriced), during the visit inside the mausoleum he pushed us to talk to a gentleman who asked us for a tip only for showing us 2 minutes the transparency of the marble with a laser and the resonance of the room screaming our names, finally, he wanted to push us to take the Tuk Tuk to go to the Agra Fort again (this time refused) despite having the driver in tow. For heaven's sake a matter of a few Rupees that make no difference to us, but it is the gesture that counts.
The only other flaw in my opinion is that, since they identify as a local Tour Operator, I would have liked at the time of booking some more advice on how to articulate my itinerary since planning a trip to India without ever being there is not easy. I understand the traffic, especially on the days of Diwali, but the time available could be optimized and we could have definitely done a few more stops since it happened several times that by mid-day we had already finished the excursions to do.
In conclusion, I am very satisfied with the past week, the small defects described are not a criticism but a stimulus for improvement given I consider the service received overall professional. Having to go back to India I would definitely rely on them.

We had the pleasure of having Ajay as our driver for six days in India, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience! He picked us up in Agra and drove us through an brilliant journey to Jaipur, Ranthambore (for the tiger safari), and Udaipur.
Ajay was professional, friendly, and very flexible with our itinerary, allowing us to adjust our plans as needed. He was also very responsive on WhatsApp, making it easy to coordinate pickup times. Decided to go to india and wanted to see the golden triangle last minute and did little planning for the trip which I regret because planning everything would've costed me cheaper than what I paid which is 18500 for the golden triangle package. My driver, Jaybir, was great at touring us around and showing you around each city. I just didn't like how going to the merch/souvenir stores is part of the itinerary which I understand that it helps with tourism. You can opt out for this if you'd like. I liked how punctual, friendly and helpful my driver was. He even invited me to drink with his homies and treated me to street food. He gave a bottle of water everyday and told me to ask him if I need anything. He made me listen to his favor indian jams during the drives and was very entertaining with his singing and dancing.

We have just finished a two-week trip to India in which we visited the main locations of Rajasthan and we can only recommend the service offered. Planning from Italy with Mr Kumar went smoothly with continuous and timely updates.
Arrived in India we met our driver, Anil, a wonderful person who Guided us on our journey with seriousness, professionalism, punctuality, making us always feel safe even after many hours of driving. With Anil we had the opportunity to share ideas and thoughts about Indian culture, as he speaks excellent English. It made us discover many places we would never have seen alone. We had an incredible experience exploring the Golden Triangle with Surat, our private driver and guide. Just completed the Golden Triangle road trip with Kumar as our driver owner of Private Driver India. We spoke with Kumar before coming to India and on first contact we felt re-assured and comfortable to book with him. A great decision on our part!!!
Kumar is a superb driver and his car was always clean (inside and out). Kumar has a great personality and a fantastic sense of humor and he kept us entertained with his singing. We always felt at ease with him.
Kumar has great local contacts and arranged tour guides for us. These guides are super knowledgeable and made our trip even more fun and memorable.
We have had the best time and I don’t think it would have been as amazing as it was if we hadn’t booked with Private Driver India and had Kumar as our driver.
I definitely would recommend Private Driver India if you are planning a trip to India.

Places to visit as well as suggestions for my wife to shop were always the best choices. India is an amazing country and culture. With Private Driver India and Kamal as our driver , we learned to appreciate the people and the culture.
Our daughters will be visiting India soon and they also will want Kamal as their driver. By the end of our trip we were already missing India and Kamal became part of our family.

Started in New Delhi 2 november and go by Agra - Jaipur ( golden triangle) and after that to Tigersafari Ranthambore, and back to Jaipur 6 november.
