We had a fantastic 12-day tour with Yolo India Tours through Dehli, Agra, Rajasthan, and Kerala. The trip was well organized, and the communication was excellent. We had reliable drivers and knowledgeable guides who often went out of their way to accommodate our interests. The cost for the tour was reasonable compared to other tour companies we had contacted. I highly recommend Yolo India Tours and will use them again.

Our guide Pradeep Singh Naruka was very friendly and dedicated. His English was ok. He gave us useful advices before visiting the sights and provided interesting facts and stories about the places we visited.
The bus driver also did a great job.
The trip was very well organized and the hotels very good (some issues which are probably normal for India, like noise). The bus and guide were always on time. The program was great, we saw a lot in the 5 days trip (Golden triangle). The value for money was very good.

Chose YOLO India Tours, and we definitely made the right choice. Our experience was 1st class. We did upgrade our hotels and I think that was a good choice also. Mr Kumar came to our hotel personally to see us.. Our vehicle and our driver Rajeev were both first class. We had three different guides.. Sanjii, Masood and Aman, all first class, courteous and knowledgeable. Our itinerary was perfect..
I would definitely recommend YOLO India Tours.

Dearest Amit, Hermant, and Vikram !

My mum and I decided not to write a review, that is too cold, we decided to write a letter to a group of new friends!

My mother and I are thankful for your caring, attention, honesty, and dedication. You 3 made us happy and comfortable and, above all, you 3 made us feel that we were part of India.

So:

Dear Amit: thanks for adjusting the trip to my mother's physical limitations. My brother, I want to say that, after India, my mum is back walking and climbing stairs and temples as never before. Now we don't know if it was the doctor who replaced her knees who did that or if it was the 'mother India' who cured my mother.

Dear Vikram: Thanks for your dynamism, proactiveness, control, and good humor. Your punctuality fascinated us. Thanks for choosing Chikinu for our Cycle rickshaw rider. He was a good person to us, assertive and generous. We thank you for bringing us to Abrar in Varanasi. With him, my mother and I had the best blessed tough photo frame negotiations ever. With him, we made a new friend.

Dear Hermant: You were the special one. Even without, us, being able to communicate fully in either Hindi, English, or Portuguese, we felt that, with you, we had the deepest connection. My mother is grateful for your caring, generosity, and assertive presence. My mother is thankful for you being close when we were negotiating and for giving her your arm to help her move around. But above all, brother, I thank you for our prayers together in the car before departure. I was not able to pray in Hind with you but I am thankful that you chanted with me: Buddham saranam gacchami; Dhammam saranam gacchami. Sangham saranam gacchami. I will never forget our hands on our front prayer together, and, on the emotional level, I will never forget when you put your hand, over my shoulder, when I was crying after leaving Kushinagar, because I was sad to leave India. Hermant, you are a generous truly, human being.

And to all the other members of the Yolo team that my mother and I have never met we give you all our deepest love.

Yolo India Tours: Golden Triangle
Good trip to familiarize with yourself with Northern India. It's a thorough exploration of both New and Old Delhi, the major sites like Agra and the Taj, and Jaipur. Tourism is still coming back to India and we were fortunate to have the trip to ourselves. This allowed for plenty of flexibility and all the members were accommodating to our interests.
Of course, you will be bombarded by the different way of life and the intense sales aspects of being a westerner in India. Ask your guide for assistance avoiding this if you're feeling overwhelmed. One of the unfortunate aspects is that even the government shop communes are sales fronts: you don't get much educational information from the rug, marble, and jewelry factories. Hotels were all clean, and upscale, but expect things to be different and communication can be challenging.
Driving is a different world, but nothing to worry about on your end. Our driver Dinesh was great - friendly, punctual, and always amenable. During the drives and areas where you don't have a guide, he supplied information and was very helpful. Get him if you can!

The Yolo India Tour was excellent. We saw a great deal of Delhi, Agra, and Jaipur. Our driver, Dinesh was thoughtful and well organized. He went above and beyond to make our trip memorable. All individual guides did a good job to present Old Delhi, Agra, and Jaipur.

We had a great experience with yolo and dinesh.
We spent a week in India. The hotels were great.
The guides that were provided did a great job of explaining the places we visited. Explained the history in detail.
Dinesh was fantastic as our driver. Always on time and felt very safe with him.

I did footsteps of the buddha tour, it was very inspiring, india definitely brings you back down to earth. Although India would seem to be a poorer country, their people seem less egotistical and much more connected with one another. They have a lot of hospitality, and pretty much everybody I talked to was friendly. The holy spots that I visited uplifted my soul and made the buddhist teachings come to life. I would recommend to make sure that you have the proper visas before going and bring paper money with you. Preferably, U.S., approximately $200 would be perfect. You will need some cash to cross over into Nepal.
🍀 Metta, peace, salute, amen 🙏

Thank you for a wonderful experience, of the Golden Triangle , Vrindavan and Rishikesh.

Here is my review of Yolo TOURS.

1. Our Guide Rani in New and Old Delhi was just awful, constantly on her phone. She built rapport and charm rather quickly (first alarm bell), then led us to a place for us to buy Indian clothing, whereby she was given a massive commission. Hence, we got ripped off severely. She didn’t seem to care that the prices were high (for us), nor care about us at all. I would NOT recommend Rani as your tour guide, be AWARE.
2. Tour guide, Vee Jay in Jaipur was Mr sleezy, put the charm on from the moment we met him. He set up guides at places we just didn’t need a guide for. When we said No, he got defensive, and walked off. He left us way too many times and what he didn’t know about the sites, he made up. He continued to walk ahead of us, never with us and never noticed if we were ok. We told him we didn’t want to buy any clothing, so he said that we were going to a block printing place, whereby we could do a block print for free. He then took us next door to a (you guessed it) a clothing shop, when we refused to buy, he walked off. He was just awful. Be AWARE of Vee Jay
3. The tour Guide Atul at the Taj Mahal was exceptional, took care of us, took photos of us, knew the best places to get the best photos. Watched out for us, gave us a heads up on the stairs ahead so we didn’t trip, checked on me several times when my friend was putting her bag through security. His knowledge of the Taj Mahal was outstanding. HIGHLY RECOMMEND Atul
4. Tour guide Raj, at Rishikesh was the worst.!! We met him and he threw the charm on big time. He took a photo of my friend, straight away. We all went for lunch together, however when it was time to pay, he waited outside the café, when the bill came, he expected us to pay, we said NO! He also asked my friend for her mobile phone, then quickly downloaded something onto her phone and said he wanted to use HER phone to pay for something as his internet was poor. We immediately told him NO and I suggested he go back to his room/hotel and use the internet there. OMG!! We txt the company and said we didn’t need a tour guide in Rishikesh and wanted nothing to do with him. He still turned up the next day at the hotel, but we refused to see him.
5. With regards to the organiser of the tour Amit, well things didn’t work out as they should. We arrived on a public holiday in Rishikesh (of which he would have known), hence the traffic was bedlam. When we explained to him, he should not have allowed a tour to go ahead on the public holiday (as he knew it would have been busy) he said he didn’t know that Rishikesh would have been busy on a public holiday (that was hard to believe). As part of the tour, he was supposed to organise 2x Yoga classes in Rishikesh, he didn’t, then our awful guide in Rishikesh said he would speak to yoga teachers that he knew, immediate alarm bells for both of us. Eventually Amit arranged a Yoga teacher for us, but didn’t inform our driver Vikram
6. Amit didn’t care about our driver, as due to the public holiday on the first night our driver slept in his car (after a 10 hour drive), second night he was in a hostel paying $500 a night, that is a lot of money for an Indian.
7. Finally. Our driver Vikram Singh was the best. He was an amazing driver, even in horrendous traffic situations. He really cared about us. Made sure we had enough bottled water to drink, nothing was too much for him. At Rishikesh Amit didn’t inform him about the times of the yoga class, so he was outside the motel at 4am, just in case he had to walk us to the yoga class. The last day he wanted to make sure we were okay and went looking for us for 4 hours. Amit could have helped him by letting us know and therefore we could have contacted Vikram. Vikram takes his job seriously and cares about the tourists that he is driving. If you need an exceptional driver contact Vikram Singh he will help you out.
All up a bit disappointed in the tour and the guides, it was on the expensive side.

Dinesh Sharma was our driver for 5 days. He was more than helpful in every way! Amed managed the tour and met us the first day to assure we were ready to go . From there Dinesh drove us to all the cities included in the golden triangle. We had various guides through out that were also SO helpful and informative. But it was Dinesh that we could rely on for taking care of us. I highly recommend Yolo tour company for a reliable and thorough trip.
