Majnu Ka Tila Saahib

This is one of the oldest Sikh Shrines in New Delhi. Situated on the bank of Yamuna River on G.T Road this is a beautiful religious place made up of white marbels. It was built by Maharaja Ranjit Singh. This place is full of positiveness. You will feel real peace here. The religious place is open 24x7 hours. Morning and evening is the best to visit the place.

this is a sikh temple place ( Gurudawara) on the banks of yamuna river . nice and quite place . lot of parking available and located on main road . one of the temples to visit

Located in north Delhi, this place can be easily reached by metro. Nearest metro station is Vishwa Vidyalaya. The location near river Yamuna makes it more scenic.

A historic gurudwara in North Delhi

I visited holy Gurudwara Majnu ka Tilla in month of November, 2017.
Location wise it is very easy to reach right on the Outer ring road.
This gurudwara has great historical importance as the first guru of sikhs stayed at this place some 400 years ago. And it really feels honoured to be at a place where you know that two of the Sikh Gurus had stayed Guru Nanak Ji and Guru Hargobind singh ji.
While you are here do read the detailed description of the holy gurudwara, as you will get to know in detail about the importance it carry. Place is very peaceful and I would recommend fellow travellers to sit inside for some time and listen to holy sermons and messages played live inside the gurudwara.
All in all a must visit place while you are in North Delhi.

often come here with family, historic Gurudwara located on the banks of river Yamuna. Guru Nanak Dev ji n Guru Har Gobind Sahib ji stayed at this place. The Gurudwara is named on a Muslim hermit called Majnu ... hence the name
