This is like a free-range sheep farm where sheep roam around freely and you can feed them. It's around 1-2 sq km big, you're mainly there to: - enjoy scenery of sheep on beautifully landscaped mountain slopes - lots of walking up and down the meandering mountain steps - let your kids get a kick out of riding their pretty... Spent 2 days at Cingjing for a relaxing holiday, not only visiting Cingjing Veterans Farm but also walking around the mountain nearby, Hehuanshan (合歡山). It's one of the best options to get away in the weekend.

We went there by taking taxi directly from Taichung Gancheng bus station, the fare was 400 NTD per pax. The entrance fee on weekend is 200 NTD. They have two sessions of sheep show and horse riding show, one on morning and one on evening. Be sure to check the schedule so you won't miss any.

We get to feed the sheeps and ride the ponies. The sheeps were not shy and you walk around the hills with them. You get the see beautiful sceneries as you wonder around the farm.

Beautiful place and greenery and many free roaming sheeps. Buy sheep food from the cute vending machine and feed the sheeps by hand. Great place to relax and enjoy the nature.

Here, over a vast expense of greenery, you can fondle and feed sheep, which wander around waiting for visitors to feed or search for food themselves. A friendly bunch, they will excitedly munch feed from your palm and may stay still for photo-shoots. On certain days, an interesting sheep show-horse show rounds up the day. All in, an interesting attraction... More

Mountainous region, nice views. A small row of shops selling food/products at one end of the farm. Small shop selling pure honey (they demonstrated harvesting of honey, and the honey was bottled right from this machine), at relatively cheap prices. The sheep-shearing show was average, to be honest. Probably great if you have not seen sheep-shearing before. The NZ shearer... More

We took Nantou Bus from Taichung High Speed Rail Station 1st floor Exit 5, the ticket was around TWD255 per pax. It leads us directly up to Cingjing farm. We bought the entrance ticket for TWD200 per pax entering from Green Green Grassfield, there's a rubber stamp there for you to stamp, as you will have to exit one point... More
