We were brought here by our driver who said we could get better Ayurvedic massage for less outside our hotel (made sense). When we arrived, the smoothe salesman bundled a package which was pretty much double the hotel cost. We felt cornered so agreed. It was a pretty low-key parochial experience (not unexpected) and not too intensive. My greatest concern was finding that my child, who was next to me and finished a couple of minutes early, was taken into a separate stall, stripped of underwear and scrub hosed off while I was still held in a sauna bed (with lid/hood over me). I don't believe there was anything sinister and it was probably cultural unawareness but still flipped when I found out later.

We paid a massive amount of money to lie on rickety tables with a dirt floor for an hour and came out looking an absolute mess yet what can't be denied is we felt great and had smiles from ear to ear.

Would we do it again?

Highly unlikely.

The prices charged here are very similar to those of in the Western World.

Are we glad we experienced it once?  Yes

The salesman / boss is very smooth talking to begin the experience with negotiation of price necessary and him moving on the price very little.  The staff doing the massage are lovely although in comparison to the massage technique to Thai massages - I would pick a Thai massage any day.   The healing oil dripping slowly on the forehead is very unique and incredibly relaxing.  The hut-like nature of the massage rooms is also a wonderful unique experience.

It doesn’t look much and the guy on the desk is a smooth talking salesman but this was one of our best experiences of a treatment in all our trips to Asia.
Don’t be put off by the dirt floor and rickety tables. The ladies make up for it.
For $100 each we had 2 hours of Ayurvedic oil on forehead ,massage with pure aloevera, asteam bath over herbal leaves ( a bit scary ) and a wash. Can’t tell you how wonderful we felt even though we looked.a mess! We also paid in aus dollars.

We were taken to this establishment by our guide who seemed to me to be in collusion with the establishment... We did not appreciate the way of proceeding and fortunately we asked the price in advance for 4 they asked us €240 for 4 and 1h45 was exorbitant. After negotiation 1 hour €120 for the basic formula.
Very good massage, extremely pleasant, friendly and expert masseurs and masseuses
