This is included in the Temple of the tooth tour and is in the same grounds. Guide told us of the history and importance of the place. It is still used today by the monks and is about a 10 minute visit with your guide

This place is situated behind the Sacred temple of tooth. This was a place where ancient Buddhist monks chanted pirith and still locals carry out the same practice when they come to this place. It is made of wood and there are very lovely carvings.
