While in Kandy we wanted to see Spice garden and happen to come across this. A difficult place to locate though in city . Narrow roads to reach. The person giving tour is very humble and knowledgeable.A small sample garden is there, the tress we saw there are-black pepper,Nutmeg,Clove,Rose Apple,Jack fruit, cinemon, cardamom, ginger, turmeric,Avacondo, star fruit. They have small shop to sell spices and oil..

It's a nice place, the guide was fun and had a lot of interesting facts to share. We smelled and felt a lot of different spices, drank a tasty cup of spiced tea and tried a few of their natural products for headaches. The shop is nice and overall it was a really fun hour or so.

Asanka the guide was a funny guy who led us through the spice garden - it looks like the backyard of someone's house but the authentic village setting of it all made it much more real and we enjoyed seeing firsthand what a cinnamon tree looked like, smell fresh nutmeg and learn how cloves and cardamom are processed. Very educational... More

One of the nicest spice gardens i've been to! They have a huge selection of natural products to fix all of your problems. The amount of product in each pack/bottle you buy, is also very generous.

It was interesting to visit this garden with my kids and having the chance to see everything growing in its natural state. Monira, one of the garden employees guided us in the garden and showed us the different spices trees that grow in sri lanka in a very nice manner.

My husband and I went there in around afternoon time.. It was very empty and quiet.. However there were so many colours and interesting smells.. Got a view of many unsual plants.. However, the products they sell there were slightly highly priced...

Lovely to see everything growing in its natural state, the smells of Sandalwood, Jasmine etc are really great and you can buy products in the shop which is a little on the pricey side but there is no obligation to buy.

Though the garden is not very big, the manager is very enterprising and took us through the various spices grown within the small garden in a very nice manner. They have a small boutique shop wherein you can buy the herbs/ spices. If you are in the area and don't have much to do, visit this place... Ps . You... More

Its like privately owned Spice Garden. From the onset your guide will start pitching for buying their products. Take a tour since it is well built and maintained but products are exorbitantly priced.
