Anuradhapura Stupas Scenic Point is in Baswakkulama Road and a scenic point to see the ancient stupas of Anuradhapura. Anuradhapura is a UNESCO world heritage site as has so many Buddhist stupas and monasteries. It is the hub of present Sri Lankan civilization and is over 2200 years old and once the capital of Sri Lanka.

Wessagiriya is located in Anuradhapura of North Central Province.This monastery which is excellent one I have seen among other monasteries of Sri Lanka.There are eminent caves and cellers in here.Those have created by wonderful techniques.So,I got a gorgeous experience from here.It is a unforgettable memory in my life.

Walk the ancient stupa trails in bare feet .. watch out for the burning of soles of your feet. Take in the sacred religious event and enjoy the quiet divinity. Offerings of food and flowers galore add beauty and serenity to Buddha’s. Silly monkeys sprawl amongst the trees and perform diving competitions in the deep pools near the entrance.

Extremely beautiful place to watch three stupas across Lake Abhaya . Ideal for photography. Nice scenic walking strip .
