I have not been inside but from outside nothing special... You can buy magnets or hand made woolen socks or padded jacket in front of the church.

This cathedral is a magnificent building with icons galore. The icon art only appears in orthodox churches and very ancient catholic churches. There are seats along to walls for the priests. The church attendees must stand during services. The cathedral is located close to the Danube River.

A beautiful church in the center of the town with a beautiful iconostasis. The style of baroque paintings is mixed with islamic decoration elements (imo) and it looks very nice. We had a nice walk around it taking pictures of the church itself along with the other places such as Gymnasium, The Four Lions fountain, Patriarchy Court and others. I... More

This Baroque Orthodox Cathedral that is dedicated to St. Nicholas was built in 1762. Its present appearance dates from 1909 – 1910 when it was reconstructed. It is considered one of the best examples of Baroque architecture in the Voivodina. As far as Baroque churches go, I cannot say it stands out on an international level. However, it is one... More

Serbian Orthodox Cathedral of St. Nicholas is situated in Sremski Karlovci's city centre, so you can't really miss it. Although from outside it doesn't look so specia, the inner space is absolutely amazing. Lots of old frescoes and icons, as well as some interesting historical paintings. If you're in Sremski Karlovci, don't miss this very beautiful church!

What a beautiful church in a lovely town. It's worth a visit of you're in the area. There's a winery right across the square if you feel like a little wine tasting.

Beautiful interior with a lot of character. Interesting to see a Baroque interior unlike the more typical Byzantine interiors of Serbian churches.
