We took a tour to Perast from Montenegro to see our Lady of the Rocks. We parked in the bus area and walked through the little town of Perast. It's really a beautiful little town. The tour included the tickets for the trip to the island. We also had a guide once on the island. It was worth having a... More

I got married at this church and it was spectacular. A little toasty inside with no A/C, but the priests and ceremony were excellent.

Nice church. We were there in the Summer and the heat was just too much. The clergymen were surprisingly very young; maybe late 20's. The trip out was in a very slow boat and again no breeze as the mountains trap the wind. If you like history, this is worth the trip.

If you have time, around 1 hour, than go to the island with locals. Until came our boat, it was explained the history of the island and nearby. The views from there are spectacular.

A lovely little boat trip takes you over to the island, the views are amazing. Not much on the rock but a church in the middle with an art / artefacts gallery. A lovely little stroll around and great photo opportunities too.

Our Lady of the Rocks Church is a great cultural experience with a breathtaking view, and you only need an hour or so to see it. You will need to take a ferry to the island, but once on the island, there is someone who will show you around the interior of the church and educate you about the history... More

It seems as though it's floating on the Bay waters and is easily reached by a 10minute boat ride from Perast. It really is beautiful and worth visiting.

We were checking out Perast since it was a short drive from our apartment here in Kotor. We got out to do some looking around and a couple guys with a boat offered to take us to the island for 5euro a person. I like boats, we like adventure and there was nothing else to do in Perast on Dec... More
