Medieval center having more than six centuries. One of the beautiful ancient landmarks of Targoviste. Like in Curtea de Arges and Campulung here you could walk on the footsteps of the Princes of Old...

The highlights are the restored 15th century Sunset Tower and Princely Church. The top of the tower sports a decent view of town and the totality of the ruins below.

The site is worth seeing when you visit the city. It can be seen from Chindia tower as well but also from the ground.

I visited the city and the complex of buildings, the court, church and tower. Very interesting, well preserved. While visiting we got caught by a summer rain and took cover in the dungeons.
