This is the museum of one of our greatest writers. It's worth visiting not only for the books and the comprehensive collection of items that belonged to him, but also for the nice and professional staff who will answer all your questions.

When in Ploiesti, you've got to visit Ion Luca Caragiale Museum, he was one of Romania's best book writers of all times..nice history and a true trip in the past!!

Too noisy and much cigarettes smug. Not a beautiful place. Is for rock lovers. Is in the middle of the town and has parking place

If you still don`t know who Ion Luca Caragiale was, i reccomend this museum. It depicts very nicely the work of this drama author, who made a huge difference in Romanian Literature. Also, there are a bundle of souvenirs available for those that adore collecting...More

It's a small museum, but the staff knows their history. They are polite and they present the info in an interesting and engaging way.

Lots of interesting things about Caragiale. Located in the center of the city but it is not easy to reach. You should ask about the museum, not about the street.
