Is a bit of a drive outside of Nasca. I did as an afternoon trip and arrived just before sunset. Was very windy and cool after dark. Was not crowded. Not the most exciting ruins but worth the trip

I road a bike out here that we rented in Nasca. Great ride out, all down or level dirt road, Got a ride back with Saul from Peru Adventure tours.

Before I came to Nazca I had no idea that this place existed! It's rare for us to take a tour but it's really worth it, you find it so much information on the Nazcan people and their society

Good experience to see the pre Inca ruins. It is not completely excavated yet. Guiding rocks on the road keep us at the distance.

It's easy to be in Nazca and not even know the existence of Cahuachi. Located about 10 km outside of Nazca on the highway heading south past the airport, there are a few signs that are easy to miss. You'll need a good 4x4 unless you're on a bus. We had a rental car and sped through the bumpy road... More

We visited Cahuachi with a local guide as part of a visit to the Nazca Lines and the Chauchilla Necropolis. The sites are all related to one another and we're all made by the same people. Seeing them together, with a guide to provide context was an amazingly rounded experience. Cahuachi is part of a 24km square ceremonial and administrative... More

A remote ruin.. a rough desert drive out of Nazca Peru. Some reconstruction has been done and some is left sorta untouched.. though it looks like looters have down a lot of damage to the back side. There are pottery sherds and bone fragments spread over much of the un-reconstructed surroundings. There was a watchman at the site, but no... More

We have been here three times now. We make the trip when we have visitors. They all have loved the ruins. I definitely recommend a guide.

Its unfortunate that this has been restored as it loses "that feeling" however its still worth a visit. You can see some of the original ruins if you look. Good scenery can be seen from the top of the hill. Take water and hat here as it gets hot.
