Forever Desert ? If the area has been a desert for so long, where did the people find so many River Rounded stones to line the water channels? Engineering on par with the ancient Romans.

An engineering work that can not be repeated today. Accessible and easy to maintain today, Nazca people takes advantage of those who have had the intelligence to create this engineering jewel. A must see in Nazca

Nice to see this system of aqueducts and wells. That the system is still in use testifies to the robustness of the system, that resisted earthquakes thanks to the strong wooden roofs over the waterways.

Despite its desert location, the largest industry in and around Nasca is agriculture, and that is thanks to the system of aquaducts and irrigation channels developed two millenia ago by the ancient Nasca civilisation. This really is worth a visit.

Nasca and Ica areas in southern Peru are extememly dry and yet the Peruvians have been able to bring water to these areas to grow crops and have been doing so for centuries. These are an interesting series of structures that you can see from the air when doing a fly over of the Nasca Lines.
