The plaza is centrally located surrounded by restaurants, hotels, tourist shops and various other businesses. There is a large statue of an Inka king in the center. There is a steady flow of tourists getting a picture or a selfie.

We walked around in the evening to check out the area, and found this small Square surrounded by government buildings, a tiny Church, Inca Statues and Sculptures, and lots of Bars and Restaurants.

There were quite a few people taking advantage of the photo ops provided by the collection of Sculptures in the center. We waited our turn, got a few photos, and then left to have dinner at a nearby Restaurant.

Worth a visit if you are in the area.

It is a simple square with the cathedral one end. The usual shops, restaurants and bars surrounding it.

Nice place to visit, historical, very beautiful landscaping, and surrounded by restaurants to enjoy food with a nice view, this main square is small and should be a little bigger

The beautiful view that this square has as much as possible surrounded by vegetation with large hills, I enjoyed every mountain that I was, in this place and the best thing was that the hotel was very close, I will return soon.

small main park of Machu Picchu, but very beautiful surroundings and we went to a great restaurant on the second floor that overlooked the entire park.

Aguas Calientes was a beautiful and busy town and the starting point for a visit to Machu Picchu. Our trip was in September 2019. I continue to take Spanish language lessons via Italki with a teacher from Cusco, who we had coffee with when in Cusco, and recently learned that her husband was part of the Aguas Calientes Rimac contest in 2017. It was a contest for artists in Peru. If you visit, please take the time to look at the sculptures in the Plaza Manco Capac.

Pretty square in the centre of town with the statue of the Inca king as its centrepiece. It is flanked by a selection of bars and restaurants and is dominated by the background of the Andes mountains. Nice place to sit and watch the world and his wife stroll by.

The beautiful plaza anchors the center of town with a fantastic backdrop of the Andes Mountain. Surrounded by restaurants and helps soak up the atmosphere.

It is a little square in an incredibly beautiful area--a setting few towns have! You have to walk through it to get to the train station to return. There are some little shops and stalls along the way.

There are some photo opportunities you may enjoy.
