Nice atmosphere
Friendly staff
Coffee was average
Protein bowl - rice not cooked. No seasoning. And very bland
Smoothies were great
Would not go back and would not recommend as relatively expensive for what it is. More style than substance .

This natural spring and swimming hole far exceeded my expectations in terms of the pool’s size, amenities and things to do. Expect crystal clear water in a tropical setting with huge ceiba trees towering above you around the pool. Enjoyed seeing families and couples smiling and relaxing on a Sunday afternoon. It’s where locals and tourists—domestic and foreign—get to mingle in a happy place.

An easy stroll along one of the well-groomed trails led us through a banana plantation. Nice path even in the middle of a sunny day, because it is mainly shaded. The trail also provides spectacular views of Conception Volcano. Lovely flowers and mature trees line the path. We saw many small lizards, colourful butterflies, a variety of birds and even a capuchin monkey resting way up in a ceiba tree.

We took advantage of the food and beverage voucher, which amounted to 50% of our entry fee. The restaurant menu offers a range of items, although we were disappointed that all listed desserts—including ice cream—were unavailable.

Facilities in this park-like setting are clean and accommodate every need from adequate parking, restrooms, change rooms and even waiters will to bring drinks and food right to your table by the pool. All staff we met were friendly and eager to please.

I booked the cheapest room they offered, and that was a mistake. It was clean and spacious, and the air conditioning worked well and the TV worked well and there was even a small refrigerator. The problem was that there was no outside space with the room. I could not sit on the balcony in the morning and enjoy the birds and the breeze and the ocean. But that was my mistake and it’s not a negative about the hotel. Just be sure that the room you’re booking will work well for you. The service here was great. When I had a problem with a broken showerhead, it was promptly replaced. When I had questions they were answered politely and accurately. This is not a high-end hotel. If you need a blow dryer or or a coffee maker, or an iron or 600 thread, count sheets, don’t book a room here , but if you want a calm and quiet and clean hotel room, that is literally steps away from a beautiful white sand beach, this is your spot. The pool is very clean and heated by the sun and most days I had it all to myself. There are two big comfy, four poster bed type lounges, but other than that, there’s no place for people to sit at the pool, so I took one star off for that. A note to those of you who have trouble with stairs: there is no elevator in this hotel. If you can’t easily climb stairs, be sure to book a ground for room. Also, the hotel has a great bar and simple restaurant each side but the Jo de Aguascalientes beach club is part of the hotel and is an excellent place to spend the day. They accept American Express and other credit cards but you can’t charge your drinks or food to the room. The beach is lovely and the water was very nice the week I was here. I will definitely come back.

Quite a cool place. I went on Boxing Day and the place was pretty packed with local families swimming, relaxing and eating. Both of the pools are enjoyable and refreshing with a rope swing, slack line, swings and very slippery walkways. Seriously, tread carefully right around the pools!
One thing that has recently changed is the price for foreigners doubled two weeks ago. The price is now $10 to enter, but you get a redeemable coupon worth $5 to go towards your food or drink bill. I didn’t eat, but looked at the menu. You know it’s a bit pricey when they only have the prices in dollars.
A great way to unwind after hiking, kayaking or kite surfing!

We went to Ojo de Agua by scooter from Playa Santa Domingo. You can also get there by local bus but there is a long beautiful lane you must walk if you go that way. It is beautifully set up and the mineral waters are very clean and fresh and flowing constantly. There’s a lot of stuff there. Restaurant, cafe, bathrooms, changing rooms, bar and a walk through a banana plantation. There were lots of tourists and locals there when we were there and we were told that on weekends it is full of local families and much more busy. The feeling of the place was soothing and green and the water fresh and the perfect temperature to cool down in. The tarzan swing was fun to watch too! We found the amenities a little more pricey than elsewhere so take some snacks if you’re on a budget. There is a sign in the entrance asking people not to wear sunscreen or bug dope as it kills the fish, but as there were no showers to rinse it off most people were ignoring that. We didn’t wear sunscreen and got a little sunburned so be aware of that. A truly beautiful place to relax and refresh. On the way back we saw both howler and capuccino monkeys on or near the road.

A great reprieve from the heat and humidity. A lovely little swimming hole, complete with swings and a rope, which was enjoyed by children and adults alike many eating it and tons of drinking options. My feet was S$10 which included entry plus a snack, which was a small tube of Pringles.

My girlfriend and i got this place recommended by a couple of people before and it was worth it for sure. The entrance fee was 5$, which is okay. You can argue that it’s a fine pricing but also a bit too expensive. The complete area including the actual “pool”, the restaurants, the toilets, parking lot and others were very clean, well organized and nicely decorated/well made. The “pool” itself had a “tarzan rope”, which was a lot of fun, a slack line and some swings in the water. The area around it was equipped several sitting places. The restaurant has a variety of meals and the pricing is good to surprisingly cheap. The fresh “coco loco” was amazing and for a nearly hilarious price of ~3$.
So many tourists weren’t as we expected. A lot of locals enjoyed their sunny day there as well. A 100% quiet place is it unfortunately not during the fact, that there is the rope and the swings, which, of course, attracts the children.

Nice to spend to sime here. Entrance is 10 dollars of which 5 should be spend in the restaurant. Dont order cappuccino or brownie here. It is expensive for what you get. The brownie is piece of bad supermarket chocolate cake and the cappuccino is solution based and very, very sweet. Employees are nice however.

We were so happy we made it to Ojo de Agua while we were on Ometepe. We had a lot of activities to do and managed to squeeze two hours in at this place. Once we got there, we realized that we definitely should’ve planned for more time! It’s so gorgeous and so much fun! There’s rope swing, slack line, swings, showers, a restaurant, clean bathrooms, and little shops. The price is more expensive than most things in Nicaragua, but good in comparison to a similar experience in other countries.

I wasn't allowed 10 min before closing time even if I was to pay the whooping 5usd fee for entrance. I could see the pool which was some water with concrete corners. Yes, there is some vegetation, but there were a lot of people and it didn't look like a relaxing place. Plus, I was taken aback by how I was poorly treated by the guards. They didn't even let me use the restrooms out but water.
