During cold period (November) warm clothes are needed for night. Also some light clothes for daytime and some accessories to protect your face from the sun, dust and winds (in case that is windy). On sand you can walk barefoot and it's recommended to walk...More

We went in to the desert on camels, like all tourists do. And it was a nice experience but the best part is getting to your destination in the middle of nowhere. After installing in your tent and having had your dinner they take you...More

At least a Camel ride must be Taken. The night in the desert may be better in middle seasons. We went in december at it was freezing. In My opinioni merzouga is the closest place to start excursions.

Once I was in Morocco I had to see this. The sand dunes can be seen from far away. Once you get there you enter another world. You can do camel ride, sandboarding, hire a quad or 4WD, but I preferred to get up early,...More

I'd never seen anything so vast. The desert was something I'd read about in books or on TV. Was more than I thought it would be. Such a variety of terrain too. Was fantastic to be there
