Crystal clear water, white sandy beach with cool breeze, what more would you want? Redang island is one of the best islands i have ever visited in Malaysia. The only problem is, it is way too expensive comparing to other islands like nearby Perhentian and there is no night life.

If you are looking for crystal clear waters, white sandy beach, calm quite and a private feel and experience, amazing snorkeling experience, amazing coral reefs, amazing scuba diving experience, stunning turquoise and shades of blues of the ocean, and especially if you aren't a swimmer, then look no further as this God's creation is definitely destined to be one of... Redang Island is the best of Malaysia in my opinion. Good location and not too much crowded. But no night life. Easy to excess from Kuala Tarrangunu.

The island is very beautiful and the least known beautiful island in the world! A haven for divers, snorkeling, sea enthusiast and anyone who wants to relax and forget the hustle and bustle of the city.

Redang island is excellence place for family trip which is suitable for adult and children. There is good place for relax, but have to beware of your foot step when walking at the beach which have a lot of die coral. For knorkeling is dissapointed, not much fish and coral to see compare to last time.

Although this island offers a great place of relaxation due to its remoteness, it is also very crowded. Food: buffet the whole day. Eat as much as you can hehe. Travelling time: too far from Kual Lumpur. Very exhausting journey. Area of swimming: so much people. One word to describe: crowded.

Be it staying at Taaras or Laguna or any other resort, you still find this place worth visiting again and again. Those love scuba diving and snorkeling, don't miss this island! Too many to see in the sea!! Alive corals, colourful fishes and sea cucumber!!! It's just too beautiful!!!

Firstly - the whole island is a resort. I didn't know this. If you want a beach holiday then this is the place. A few snorkelling and diving trips available. There are about 5/6 resorts on the beach, we stayed Sari Pacifica which was okay. Fantastic white sand and clear sea and a really great plane to relax. Food wasn't... More

I highly recommend Redang as your next beach/snorkeling/scuba destination. Lovely island, still relatively undeveloped. Some of the more popular reef locations, like the Marine Park, are showing signs of wear and tear, but still teeming with life and great for kids and all but the most experienced snorkelers, who've seen it all. A private boat trip can lead to less... More
