Redang beach is really the most beautiful beach in Peninsula Malaysia! The sand is so fine and soft, and at night you can go hunting for "blue sand". Lots of photo-taking opportunities, and when you're tired exploring in the sun, doze off on a hammock...More

Redang is a wonderful place which offers great beaches, nice jungle treks and memorable beaches. Underwater you will find coral, small sharks, barracudas, colorful fishes and turtles.

Made the long trek here from Singapore to try the diving. Nice white sand beaches but painful to get to. Diving is good but not world class. Very popular with locals on long weekends.

We went for two hour snorkeling trip in the afternoon - they took us to two places and we spend about 50 minutes at each place. The water was crystal clear and packed with fishes of different colors, shapes and sizes - simply heavenly experience!

Many places for diving and snorkeling - mainly fish and corals. There is a place where you can swim with turtles also. Suggestion : Avoid travelling during a long weekend / school holidays - gets too crowded on the beach and the popular snorkeling locations

Returning from Redang island, you can normally find ferry services to Merang jetty and Kuala terranganu. The closest to KB airport is Merang Jetty at roughly 120KM, if you use taxi it will be very expensive. I would suggest... More
