Getting too commercialized. Compared to the last time I visited this. More trash now along the beach. Waves could be pretty strong too for non-strong swimmers. Surfers would love this stretch though. The view from the rocks at the right end of the beach is...More

Visited on a Friday morning to noon around mid Feb (monsoon) Beach was literally empty with only 1-2 restaurants open. Great for a beach stroll and some soul searching :-P

I arrived her to stay for 11 nights, I ended up staying for 5 months. Lovely expats and very small community where everybody knows everybody. No roads, no cars, Only beach and jungle.

There are plenty of restaurants and activities available at this location. My main reasons for a bad review are: 1) The service at the restaurants was TERRIBLE and I was not there at a particularly busy season time. 2) The amount of litter I picked...More

The difference in visiting again this place at the end of the year compared during the peak season a few months ago is how serene it is and now you have swells good enough to surf. Yeah its a hidden gem and probably because the...More

Not to big not to small, clean and a nice Beach to swim from! Cheap diving (specially the courses!) But the food is a bit more than what I spend on most places. all sort of accomodations available! Really recommend you going here!

Found this is not a good beach for swim, as too many boats in and out here. No doubt it's a happening joint for all to have their drinks and party here.

Tiv, available only if you can make arrangements with the beach boys or boatsmen in advance. They don't sit around waiting for customers at night. And yes it would be pricier.

No duty free shops that I saw, not exactly sure on drinks prices but must have been reasonable or I would have picked up on it.
