Wonderful well preserved house - Raffessia keithii named after Harry George Keith Conservator of forests North Borneo - Sabah - This was his house - He was responsible for starting the process of forest conservation before the age of oil palm destruction His wife Agnes became a celebrated writer eg "3 came Home" Story of their Jap Internment

I found this house fascinating, from the furnishings to the photos and general information. Agnes Keith books are now on my wish list. Here is not much to see and as one person write on tripadvisor, Save the money and dont go inside, so we only take a look from the windows and that was enough.

Price with 15 RM for Non-Malaysians is too high. Just my opinion. You even won't get a brochure with information.

The library in the house has a special energy. The interpretation materials in the house are well done. Lunch menu selections are good and food quality pretty good. Rather too loud background music took away the peacefulness of the place. A begging dog and a few free range chickens circled the dining table but wildlife were a very vital part... More

We visited having read Agnes Keith's books about her time in Borneo. The house has been well restored by the Sabah Museum and is well worth visiting. Extremely interesting!
