A well laid out path leads you from the entrance to the waterfall. There is an area right at the end where you can go and bathe.
Great walk to do with children. Getting there and back in tbe car wasn't as pleasant o a narrow 2 way road.

The area could be so nice but is not well maintained, plastic, cans etc. everywhere in the area, half broken down houses and agressive dogs along the trail. We realy do not understand why people dirty their beautiful country and nature places.

We spent 2-3 hours there. Long hiking trail but well maintained and kids can enjoy walking. Water was clean and cold. Best part was we visit during weekdays so no crowd at all, so relaxing and feel like we booked it for our family only. Saw many butterflies which was another plus thing, little bit Liter was there near seating area.

An easy short 15 min walk from car park to the waterfall.
It’s a clean and maintained place with changing room and toilet available.
Water is shallow and safe to go in for a dip.

We really enjoyed the falls, but were horrified to see hundreds of litter bags discarded behind the falls - plastic everywhere - don’t understand why employees couldn’t take these away - never been more taken aback in my lifetime (have travelled to more than 100 countries)... these were the refuse bags provided at the park for visitors to throw their rubbish into - (!)

Jeriau waterfall is located down a windy steep road beyond Ye olde Smokehouse. Access to the falls is a 15/20 minute walk along a well maintained path that follows a stream down to the falls.

It is an easy walk although the last 5 minutes require a number of steps down to the falls themselves. A pool has been created below the falls for swimming. We visited mid week and were the only visitors and enjoyed the tranquility and bird/butterflies. I’m sure it would be less enjoyable when busy.

A slight detraction was the overflowing rubbish bins and very tired / deteriorating information signs along the path.

There is a 3km drive down a pretty narrow, but very quiet, road to reach the car park for the falls. Then a 15-20 minute walk through the woods, mainly alongside a little stream, to reach the falls. They are not particularly dramatic but the setting is very tranquil, the place seems to see only a few visitors, and all in all it makes for a very pleasant couple of hours: that is taking account of the time from and back to Bukit Fraser. There is a decent pool under the falls if you need to cool down and plenty of places for a picnic and even some structures for camping out on the way down. Pleased to say I didn't see any signs of the rubbish and worse that has been mentioned previously. That would certainly detract from the ambience.

This waterfall is about a two mile drive down a windy road (all the roads in and around Fraser's Hill are windy) past the Ye Olde Smokehouse Hotel and Restaurant. The road is a dead end but with a large carpark. It is then about a 15 min walk through the jungle on a well maintained pathway to the falls. The path follows a river along which there are quite a few cabana like structures, some with BBQ pits, we saw quite a few locals having picnics and BBQs at these.

Immediately prior to reaching the falls there is quite a long and steep series of steps, this place is definitely not accessible for the handicapped. The waterfall itself, although not large is actually larger than it looks in photos, there is a large pool at the foot of the falls with a few people swimming when we visited. There are also some more Cabana like structures and some rudimentary buildings with toilets and changing rooms, although they do look like they need some serious maintenance.

I would suggest about a 1hr visit (longer if you want to have a picnic or a BBQ), the walk through the jungle is pleasant, and the falls worth visiting.

Entrance to the falls is free.

This was my third trip to see Jeriau Falls over the past 20 years … it will be my last! Upon arrival in the parking lot, you're met by garbage that hasn't been picked up in months. The trail down to the falls is well worn and littered with garbage (mainly bundled used plastic baby diapers) or periodic piles of garbage that someone had tried to be burn. Partway down the trail, we were met by a half dozen SUVs and people camping along the side of the once serene trail. The actual area around the falls has an open garbage pit, several disgusting 'hole in the floor' bathrooms and even more garbage. The appears to be no regard for the nature beauty that Jeriau Falls once had. Recommend you avoid the hot hike or you will be greatly disappointed. Rick C. West - Sooke, BC, Canada

About 10 minutes walk to the falls, More like a man made but its natural, a big shallow pool for dipping to cool yourself off.
