We didn't have the time to go to Masai Mara so opted for the cheaper and smaller scale option of Tsavo East. We were told by rogue excursion sellers that Tsavo East had no animals and Tsavo West was best, this wasn't true. Even when East was dry it had all the animals we wanted to see. So many lions... It is marvelous park, althougt less green then Amboseli, considering that the climate is very dry. It was sad to see all those empty waterholes and animals searchig for water. I realy cannot understand why goverment doesn't do something to provide water and fillfull waterholes for all those poor animals who do die because of lack of water!. Nature is... More

It was an interesting adventure! My first safari ever. We saw many animals, like elephants, zebras, antelopes, giraffes, impalas, birds, buffaloes and even lions from very close!! Still we couldn't see rhino, leopard and cheetah. But it was a great experience anyway! I will not forget

We did self drive to Tsavo East and Tsavo West. Both parks are amazing. Beautiful scenery and many animals. But not so dense as in Maasai Mara.

As I understand, this is the largest National Park in Kenya, regrettably an evening and morning drive was all that was booked. Many elephant, Gerenuk, impala, zebra, buffalo, black backed jackel, warthog and giraffe. Birds included goshawk, quelea, Tawny eagle, various hornbill, white stork and secretary bird, to mention them all would take a long time. This place deserves 2... More

We had three visits to this park in 24 hours (standard multiple - entry ticket valid for 24h). The best is to visit before 10 am and after 4 pm when it's not so hot and the elephants move around and not just stay inside. This park is full of life, and definitely worth a visit. We saw 6 lions,... More

Our safari from Mombasa took us to each of the Tsavo parks for one night. The drive from the entrance gate into Tsavo East to our lodge was 43km, but along that route we saw half a dozen different herds or groups of elephants, an abundance of zebra, impala, gazelle, and more bird species than you could count. We then... More

Our two-days safari was an amazing experience. Stunning landscapes, wide variety of animals (elephants, girafes, lions, cheetahs, monkeys, birds, zebras, buffalos, gazelles, impaled). At different times of the day, given the light you can make wonderful photos.
