Giraffes, Rhinos, Buffalo, Hippos and many more to see in thier natural habitat during a morning's drive around the delightful lake. And birds galore too, a veritable twitcher's paradise which is not to be missed if you have a day to spare in Nakuru.

Check if there are flamingos before you go. Check about the park fees too. If you have already been in another safari park then you might be disappointed.

Scenic park with lots of wildlife. Good seeing the KWS working hard to protect them. Effects of climate change are visible from changes in lake water levels and vegetation. Highly recommended for families and friends alike.

If you come here for the hope to see flamingos, you better go somewhere else as there's not a single flamigo here anymore. However, there's still many other animals like zebras, seers, lions, giraffes and even rhinos.

Very good place to visit. specially when you do it through a game drive. My family and I did it by our self drive compact SUV and it was an amazing game drive for us.

very beautiful wild park, many animals - zebras, lions, giraffes, buffaloes, antelopes, monkeys, birds. Flamingos there has been little after the floods five years ago, the water level rose. The lake is just pink on the brochures of travel agencies. One day is not enough.

Best place to see lake is from Baboon Cliff viewpoint and clearly signed. No boating though on this lake!
Can you not just drive your own car in?? Drive around and obey the park rules. We are coming over from Uganda.

We would be at Lake Nakuru in the middle of February. Do you know if the flamingos would be there at that time of year? I'm looking for a hotel near either Lake Nakuru or Lake Naivasha. Have you seen both? Which would you recommend? Thank you!
