The falls are lovely. Beware of the tourist trap in the form of local shops as well as shop keepers who can get aggressive and road if you do not visit or purchase from their shops. Entry was 200 shillings per head. If you want to venture to lower areas you have to request security personnel on duty to accompany... More

A place of beauty indeed. The gushing waterfall was invigorating and witnessing this was pleasing to the eyes. The legend behind the fall was sinister no doubt. Would leave it to future travelers to find out themselves!!

We asked our driver if it was possible to go back on a different route from Aberdare to Nairobi in order to see the Rift Valley/ He obliged us at a slight extra charge. Therefore we able to stop at this beautiful spot. The waterfall is lovely but do beware of people in costume who want you to take their... More

Beautiful view off the nearly 75meter high waterfall, Remember good shoes and warm clothes if you want to go either by yourself or on a guided tour around in the nature

Our only bad experience was our guide making an impromtu stop at Thomson's Falls. As far as we knew, ALL park and attraction fees were already paid, upfront. Our guide went through the gate, parked the van and told us to go down the path, see the Waterfall. As we got close, my partner and I noted there was another... More

Good place to stop and stretch legs. View of falls are nice. Nothing incredible, but they are nice. Good break up to the drive.

Love the falls . But gave a low rating because you will be attacked by the local people before you even get out of the car. Please, please buy from me, come to my shop . Then when you get past that nightmare. You have more locals trying to put lizards on you so they can take a photo of... More

This waterfall is beautiful. To have the full experience walk down the steps to the rocks below the waterfall. On a clear sunny day, the view is amazing. It would be great for a stop over on your way to another place since you will only need about an hour to explore. Took us 3 hours from Nairobi to Nyahururu.... More
