I had a guided tour of this coffe bean factory. A very informative guide told us about the production of their various sorts of coffe beans and the very special bean kopi luwak that has to pass through the intestine of an animal the natives call a luwak. During the passage the beans starts a fermenting process and when picked up after leaving the animal and processed this gives the beans a vere special, and sought taste which makes this sort very expensive.

Free coffee tasting and Demonstration

Once you arrive; they will take you for a tour to show how coffee is made.
You get go meet the luwak animal ( secret behind luwak coffee) and taste all the types of tea and coffee they offer. Plan a good hour for the visit yo enjoy it. Below are some pictures for coffee and cocoa trees

Of course we had to try. I think you get sucked into the moment, knowing it is the most expensive cup of coffee in the world. However, we enjoyed the variety of different teas that were on offer as well.

Although we did buy a small box of coffee. It is cheaper at Duty Free. Various size boxes can be bought or as we did buy a box that contains enough for four cups, filters included for £5 - great present for friends. They also certify that only wild civets have eaten the coffee.

The second time visit this place make very good filling after drink real coffee luwak when come from wild animal

so fantastic place with the nature of coffee. They make coffee when they pick from they garden. Bali coffee is very good to grew in the place more then 700 m high.

Awesome coffee plantation

Each coffee plantation offers not just coffee, but much more. Luwak coffee, the costliest coffee in the world is cultivated here. Lemongrass, tea, ginger. Galangal, pepper, cocoa. Vanilla and many more species of plants can be seen growing here. There us an outlet selling the products after u are satisfied post sampling.

Ok to visit and taste, purchase is overpriced

This came as part of our day tour and we were not told it was included. Its ok and tasting is free. But we went to purchase coffee at the shop and all items are highly overpriced.

We enjoyed our visit here. We were given a tray with different flavoured teas and coffees they were all very good. It was hidden away in lovely gardens. We bought some to bring back home. The Balaneise chap who served us the samples spoke good English and knew all the details about them all.

Too touristic - if you want real coffee, better visit a proper coffee place

Was brought to plantation by our tour guide, they offered us 20+ samples which was "okay". we simply bought some "overpriced" tea from there. I dont see the fuss about the Luwak coffee honestly.
Not worth it.

Here realy nice garden with lot of coffee plant because the place realy edial for graw coffee. the tasted of organic product very deliceus. I tell you don't miss take. come and visit here.

Bad experience

Was brought to plantation by driver and told this was a social co-operative helping locals. Given a tour of the place and samples of coffee luwak to try. Tasted good so we bought some from the shop. Brought home and it tasted bad with no aroma, totally different from samples. Organic coconut oil we bought has no coconut smell at all too. Tourists beware!
