Interesting, but difficult to find and not as well maintained as Saigon's Cu Chi tunnel complex. Also a bit wet from the recent Typhoon. Having a flashlight / torch is essential as lighting is poor, or absent. Super, if you're a history buff or haven't...More

Our day tour took us to this tunnel which I thought was called Long Phuoc Tunnels. There is a temple out front and the entrance to the tunnels was through an archway. Much easier access than the Cu Chi tunnel which we visited about 10...More

This was a way to see how some poor Vietnamese people had to live during the war. Squashed into crawl sized tunnels a lot of the time for years.

The local family who live at the tunnels are very friendly and hospitable and will provide you with iced water and bananas if you sit and talk with them in their rural setting amongst the goats, chickens, roosters, dogs etc. The extensive tunnel system is...More

Finding the Kim Long Tunnels was an adventure in itself. Venturing into them was another matter altogether. Without a guide and only a small light, I went in alone. It was dark and went down deep into the Earth. There are three tactical positions from...More
